Hahaha. Tell me about it. The last time I actively listened to Ayu was during the Duty era. Now those were good songs.
Duty days were good! Personally, after the "Voyage" single, something about everything became repetitive, uninspired and her voice got worse...if that was possible in the first place? MY STORY Classical showcases her voice better than the original, but that's also probably because she sings less rock and more ballads, lol

I just realise there's Ayumi thread, which is pretty late.
Ayumi is my most favourite singer and I started liking her after she released M as well.
I agree that after she released Voyage, everything else was quite similar. But i like the way she's changing her music to Pop-rock ( if there is such thing). XD
My fav recent song, (well, not that recent now) by her remains to be Moments and Game.

I think so
If I remember correctly, there was a picture of Ayu with a bottlecap necklace that Nagase-san gave her saying something about it was when they first met or something something... Not sure, but I think they are still together

i like ayu chan a lot! a surprise for me was how well the ayu trance album worked. dance remixes of her japanese work could've been a disaster but it's brilliant!!

i don't know how many of these trance albums she's done but i have ayu trance 2 which is fantastic. i actually listened to this before her normal stuff so it was interesting for me to hear the songs afterward in their original format.

her stuff remixed correctly works great for the party crowd, i've played a few of her remixes at some of my gigs. the crowd ate it up, even though most of them couldn't understand what she was singing/saying.
