i knew bOut narutO but pOt, haven't gOt the slightest idea what it is abOut
Naruto is basically about a boy who is trying to get the respect of his village by becoming the #1 ninja
Prince of Tennis is basically about a first year tennis player owning his opponent........basically
Both of these are good and funny. If u watch Prince of Tennis anytime soon, be patient with it cuz it gets goin a couple eps after the first. One thing in POT that comes up alot was Inui Juice<----funny, doesn't appear at all round eps130
they both in the 100s for eps...i think 170 sum odd for POT
and Naruto only at eps 130 right now for the anime...not so sure about the manga tho
that is a ton of episodes!!, just how many dvd's is that??
think that One Piece has a ton of episodes too.
Ikki Tousen, Mabuharo, not sure if they had that many, but do know that each anime has about 7 dvd's in the series.
GTO has about 10 dvd's to the anime collection, probably 20 something volumes in the manga.

GTO has 25 manga vol. i think
think i got GTO anime vol's 1-3 and 8 for real cheap, clearance sale for $7 ea, i don't think i will ever get that price again, if i want to finish up my series on GTO. The manga is good, browsed thru one of them at the bookstore on the manga, 25 at $10 ea, over $250 incl taxes, ouch.
Anyhow, Mabuharo is out today at bestbuy, going to check it out. s/b good. Burst Angel is out next month, s/b cool too.
ikki tousen, now have 4 of the 7, three more to complete the collection.
best buy didn't have mabuharo near my place, will try another time.
collecting anime is expensive, avg price per anime ranging from less than $20 to $35 and up. Expensive hobby to have. D/L would be cheaper, but not an option if you have dial up.

My cuz told me bout One Piece, said its very addicting and Fox kills most anime that it airs
hell yeh its addicting, same with naruto, but i also hated the fox release, i also think they're gonna ruin naruto as well when it comes on CN. so if you guys wanna watch them and enjoy it, id say get the japanese version.

s'ok dude, its all good. Yeah my collection, not too much, i would guess probably less than $400, roughly, figuring that each one is an avg price of $25-30 each.
so far my fave is Ikki Tousen, after awhile, you start to recognize some of the english voice-overs in each anime, some sound familar to me.
Inital D? you like racing? heard about the anime, it is running about $16 per dvd at Bestbuy, not sure how big the series runs for the anime.
Azumanga? that sounds like a fun anime.
They had Fruits basket, all four vol's in a box set for $66.99 at bestbuy, and all 10 vol's for Full Metal Panic for $68, not bad, but that is a ton of money to spend. Also had to hold off on Mezzo vol. 3, the last one to complete my series, maybe another time.
how much did you spend on your collection? I also collect anime figures and a little manga. This Otaku hobby can be expensive!

Lets see....anime collection running in the $400s like you. i remember now cuz i went to best buys n spent $170 sum odd for 5 DVDs: 3 ikki n two Azumanga probably would have gotten it cheaper at Frys. My manga collection is bout $400+ pushing into the $500s, got some of dem for free, those buy 2 get 1 free at borders
My collection is tiny compared to my cuzns, but he don't buy anime so i think i spent more than him

dang, 5 anime dvd's in one visit to best buy?!, i think i would be watching for awhile, enjoying anime. You can complete a series or two for that price. nothing to be shamed about, it's your $$$ and you saved for it. hey there is a lot out there i want, i blew $450-500 at the last anime convention, mostly anime figures and some dvd/books, of course that was over 3 days at the convention hall, plan on probably doing it again, hey i am an Otaku and would love to visit Akihabara in Tokyo, the Anime mecha of the world! Forturnately for me, i don't buy too much on anime, and try to save up when i can. But it's my hobby and sometimes you got to spend a little to enjoy it. It sounds like you got a good collection growing there, do you have any japanese dramas as well??
I have a few: Seikei Bijin, Pretty Girls, Bus Stop, to name a few, all with eng subs.

@kt tran:
what did you think of the fourth vol. of Ikki Tousen?, just figured out that the 4th vol, is the last, i have the entire series finished. I thought the action was good and the story was ok, hakafu is a hottie. The artwork was superb and the fan service was great. Cool, another complete series i have now in my anime collection.
