Any1 in here watchedGokusen? I watched it a while ago, and loved every bit of it! I really wanna get the DVD, but they don't have english subtitles, even though I know japanese, but I would prefer it if it had english subtitles. I first watched it when the mandarin version was boradcasted on chinese network, so I really wanna get the mandarin version!
Oh well, I'll probably try to get it when I go back to china for Xmas holidays! w00t!

Anyway, any1 here is a fan of Gokusenor just simple like the series? I really would love to chat with u guys! Mr Green Nut Dancing

in my opinion hero was truly wack....i think it was one of the worst dramas that kimura takuya has acted in....acting was flat and the suspension of disbelief was completely absent notwithstanding the fact that you could classify the show more as a comedy rather than a drama.....love generation can easily be heralded as a classic and is much better in my opinion for many reasons, the acting of matsu takako and kimura takuya, being one of them....they are much better in love generation but that is most likely because the story and script is better than hero....watch them both if you must but i think you will find love generation lauded more universally than hero.....

all those characters in the tokyo prosecutorial office....not in a million years. they should have just made them have other professions...maybe it wouldn't have been so unbelievable.

I recommend Kinpachi Sensei. I had loww expectation before watching it. (mainly because the teacher is Takeda Tatsuya, old man hehe ) however after watching it, it was a GREAT drama. unlike GTO who solved one problem per episode, Kinpachi Sensei's storyline flow from the beginning until the last episode. Although a bit dark and also deal with one taboo topic, the drama is highly enjoyable and great. It's really worth watching the 22+Sp episodes.

Golden Bowl is a fantastic bowling series with Kaneshiro Takeshi.

And I know a couple Tiawanese series that deal with sports that were terrific.

So even if they arent Japanese Im recommending them anyway,

My MVP Valentine- about a high school boys basketball team

The Champion- about a girls college swim team.

I love sports dramas. I wish there were more of them.

Trade OR DIstro Its all good.

If I haven't done so, I'm gonna recommend MotoKare. I really liked how Ryoko Hirosue portrayed Saeki in this series. A definite MUST-WATCH w00t!

To be honest, I don't like motokare. A big dissapointment for me. Everyone is entitled with own opinion^^. Some like it, some might not. But it is just not into my liking. Beaten
