This is a really hard question. I've seen so many in the past few months that it's hard to just pick 5 JDramas.

1. GTO Live Action - Because it was the JDrama that started to get me interested in other JDramas.

2. Beautiful Life - Kimura Takuya/Tokiwa Takako were great together and the storyline was absolutely wonderful and sweet.

3. Seija no Koushin - So much angst/darkness in this atypical JDrama, but the characters themselves were so beautiful and so very heartwarming. It was hard to watch at times because you get to be so attached to the characters, but it's definitely worth it.

4. Summer Snow - A simple story that created some of the most memorable and touching characters: Natsuo and Yuki. The supporting cast did a great job also that only added to the enjoyment of watching this drama. It's one of the few dramas in general that has a good solid ending.

5. It's always hardest for me to name the last of my favorites because there's so much to choose from so for the moment I will leave it blank as it is a tie between Water Boys, Searchin' for my Polestar, Long Vacation, Antique , and Stand Up!! . _________________ Donna | |

 Me, impartial?

In all honesty, I'd pick Seikei Bijin for all five spots.
  |

    I should have known!!
Actually that should have been on my top five list too. HMMMMMM..... not sure what I could skip

Ryoko is the best comedic actress Ive seen in a drama.
She's relaxed, a little Westernized perhaps?

Yeah, she was quite kooky in Seikei Bijin...

Maybe that's why I adore her so much...

													Helloooo
Haven't watch many doramas, mainly Takuya K's. These r my favourite:

1. Long Vacation - my first dorama (watched it over n over again)
2. Summer Snow - amazed by Tsuyoshi performance (a lot of people chose this dorama ) Rarely cried watching dorama but this is an exception.

3. Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi - my heart aches for days after watching it. One fine tragedy.

4. Majo no Jouken - Takki
No #5 but speacial mention - Lunch no Jou, GTO, Antique & Pride | |

DidnLt watch many doramas, but my top 5 is:
 - Sekai no chushin de, ai wo sakebu
Sad drama, great acting, touching and deep.
Cried in EVERY episode!!! ItLs so beautiful... definitely, the best!!!

 - Kamisama, mou sukoshi dake
Also sad, good acting, also touching, I`ve cried almost in every episode... but itLs not better than Sekachu. Fukada Kyoko overacted in many parts. Too much unnecessary crying. But itLs great too!!!

 - Orange Days
ItLs good, but sometimes I hated SaeLs manners, specially the way she used to treat Kai (wish I could have a boyfriend that cares about me so much as Kai did with Sae!). ItLs sweet and touching too. Made me learn a lot of signal language.

 - Yamato Nadeshiko
Cause NanakoLs acting was so funny!!!!!!! So sweet and yet so funny dorama!!! Really really good!!!

 - Majo no Joken
Sometimes I didnLt like some parts of some episodes, but both Nanako and Takki were great in this drama. ItLs sad, a bit dark, but wonderful!!!
Makes you fall in love with Takki too!!!
