I loved watching Tsugawa Masahiko playing the gentle teacher. The artist philosopher. The guy who'd sharpen swords... but only if he was sure you wouldn't use it to kill.
Not too long ago I spent almost a year watching him star as Tokugawa Ieyasu in the NHK Taiga, "Aoi: Tokugawa".
There was never a more bloodthirsty, power mad, conniving, selfish, happy, delightfully devious character than Masahiko's Ieyasu.
Watching him in Musashi was like watching a wolf wander around in sheep's clothing. _________________

From what I've seen, he plays a similar character in Kurokawa No Techo: the head man of a syndicate (Yakuza?)...
Well, how can we be sure that it hasn't happened later in Osaka? Of course, there's not proof that it happened, but, there's also no real proof that... it didn't happen!
