Which one? I thought you only had one hell-hole job and bailed out...
Yeah, that was the hell hole job.
But there are always problems at other places too. Not as bad as the "hell hole" though. Just irritated at some people and their views on how productive (they think) they're delegating work. Sales could be better and money spent on employees could be used more efficiently if they had done opposite of what they're doing. *sigh* That's what I get for working with dumb asses. _________________
wow, thats hell of an internship. are you still on that, or is this actually REAL work?
yeah, I'm still on that. I've got a job at a convenience store for the summer. A little money making doesn't hurt the poor student As for a real job, I'm just not ready for work-life yet, maybe a year or two after I've graduated.
Last I heard, he's doing some teaching in a community college in Berkeley.
The guy has a BS and an MS (I think) in Chemistry...! Really sharp guy, but can't do the 9 to 5.... Doesn't bother him, so if he's cool with it, so be it...

Thanks for the congrats guys!
I finally got my office today But my phone isn't hooked up yet and there's still a big table in it (my office used to be a conference room). I don't have anything to do yet and I still don't have an office mate (I will later this month). I don't have my name plate or business cards yet though, I have to wait for that. I have to figure out some stuff to buy, like candy and snacks and stuff I'll "need"
Another problem, I have to get used to the paperwork and driving directions. Before I get assigned clients I'll have to make runs for other people as practice. But......I don't live in the county I work in. So I only know certain areas and I don't know some of the back roads.
And yeah, security isn't calling me back, so I still have no ID. I can't get in through certain doors without it and I also can't get my car because the keys are assigned to my barcode on my non-existant ID
Tomorrow: Gotta drop off my papers to HR and exchange my work cell because it sucks and whoever had it before me lost the charger. Also, if security doesn't call I have to call them and bark at them.

Woot! I got my phone line, ID card, and all my keys. I have my car as of Monday and they gave me a client already O___o No business cards or name plate yet, but that should be soon hopefully. I hope so because I can't remember my phone numbers yet
This weekend I must go shopping for office filling crap and dig around the house for car air fresheners for my work car.

Thanks guys!
Oh man but I was so bored today. I have 2 clients. Both of which I haven't even met. One is in in-patient crisis (involuntary lock-down), discharge date unknown but her daughter keeps calling me -__-;; The other I just got, and I'm older than him o__o He sounds like he isn't serious about seeking services, going by the chart. Sounds like his mom is making him do this. I went to find his house and saw a ton of cars in the driveway. I didn't want to knock on the door alone, so I returned to my office and called several times throughout the day: no answer and no voice mail. Ugh.
The rest of my day was chock full of nothing. I drove around for an hour and a half, got an iced coffee and a bag of chips, sat through traffic, and went back to my office. Then I checked messages and chatted the whole afternoon. Everyone keeps saying "Enjoy this down time, you'll miss it so much". I'm really trying to and i know why they are saying it, but I'm SO BORED because I have nothing to do and the day crawls. Everyone else is out all day so I have no one to talk to. I want to have some appointments to cover and I requested another client. Everyone else has like 20 clients, I have 2. One of which is MIA. I need something to do
Tomorrow is pay day though! I get 1 week's pay. Niiiice.
