whos the girl in your signature pix? and you got rid of the bikini girl one...
went to the bookstore to browse thru the travel sections, esp. on japan, didn't see any new ones, but a good one i was flipping thru, was a book by "Fodor's" Tokyo, doesn't have a lot of pix, but it has a ton of information on Tokyo and it is the updated 2005 version.
Lol
I did not know you were asking..
The one with the Rain is Yaguchi Mari and the other girl I dunno who she is but I would SURE love to find out!

who is Yaguchi Mari? jpop singer? and the other gal, where'd you find her at? nice....and it's a video/cm of her too eh?
there's a lot of cute j-girls out there and probably a lot more to be discovered.

Yes Mari sings in Morning Musume... Well used to, I dunno what's going on with it now.
The other girl is Yu Yamada, she has a thread too.
yu yamada huh? starred in some J-doramas and is a bikini idol eh?
nice.....
think i am a bit biased though, love Nana all the way and also think that Chinatsu and Azusa are among the tops as bikini idols, but Yu Yamada looks nice too.

And the other girl I got that video from a CM.
yeah heard of Morning Musume, they mention that group in the book i just got online, "Cruising The Anime City", in the section of J-Idols, AyaAya is one of the main ones(Aya Matuura former Morning Musume member), had a whole section on them, they even have an official store in Shibuya after them. Is Mari your favorite J-idol?!
The girl is some type of J-idol, named Yu Yamada, and according to Roponggi, she has a thread on here as well.

well good luck in your search....
"Lonely Planet" series is a good one to look into for Tokyo, Kyoto, and Japan.
besides the local bookstore, you might look into Kinokuniya bookstores, if there is one in your area, they have more of a selection of Japanese Tourbooks.
yeah, four days and counting, my friend from NorCal is coming to OC tomorrow, and from there we are going to get ready for Tokyo! I plan on taking over 600 pix/some video, that is the goal anyway.

I still can't find anything on her here...
btw how often does Japan have earthqaukes?
i'm watching the history channel right now, and they just talked about the 1994 quake that hit LA, I was old enough to remember that, I was scared as hell.

I miss CA
the '94 earthquake, i was up in norcal, believed that the '94 one was in Northridge, LA area. I heard it on the news. I was in the '89 bay area shakers, that rocked the whole area, and scared me lots.
Japan gets them here and there, last visit, didn't feel anything, i am sure they get the small ones that people don't really feel there, it's just the bigger ones that do. How often? not really sure, just hope that i don't feel any and i can just focus on enjoying my trip.
