Nope. All I can find is the major Japanese brands of beer (ie: Asahi, Sapporo, Kirin Ichiban) brewed in Canada or America.
The only Japanese beer import I can find is Echigo. However, being an import, a 22oz or 24oz (I forgot which size it comes in) bottle retails at a whooping $3.49+tax (and on top of that, the state bottle tax $0.06).
Can't even get a buzz off of that. Beaten

Speaking of which, I'm drinking tonight. Drunk

Bachelor party! Naughty

Cheers, Drunk

Nah, we're going to meet up a bar in North Beach (a cool section of San Francisco), then afterwards go hit the... ahem... gentlemen's clubs. Naughty

Dude!
I hope I find someplace here that sells a Japanese beer brewed in Japan and not those wanna-be Japanese beers that are brewed in Canada or by "AB".
Heh, maybe you can buy some and mail them to me? Beaten hehe hehe

"AB"...nice. sure why not... i don't know if it's legal to ship alcohol across state lines though but i can always pack it in a box and lie about the contents... hehe the only thing is these cans of asahi, as i might have mentioned before, are pretty big. about 33 oz a piece....but it definitely says brewed in Tokyo Japan by Asahi, imported by Asahi Torrance, CA.

i forgot how much it costs per can...next time i go to the Japanese market i can find out 4 ya and report back.

dude my brain froze for a second when you wrote Asahiya...because i was thinking you shop for Yonekura collectibles at Asahi???? you know because in Japanese the suffix -ya denotes "store" and i was just talkin' about Asahi beer..... Crazy i got beer on the brain, yo.

I think that Asahiya was a carry over from the one that closed down in Little Tokyo...

Hmm, I wonder if there's also a Kirin HQ around: maybe they've got some posters lying around...
