i just wish they take on more diverse roles, that's all. No offense to their fame in Gokusen at all. They acted really well there, especially Jun and Nakame.

i have a question about gokusen....

you know how the Grandfather, the Oyabun of the Yakuza family always strikes that flint rock when Yankumi departs the house to go to school...what is that all about? i can guess but i don't know the cultural antecedent for that practice? where does it come from? does anybody have any ideas...i'm not that well-versed in japanese culutural practices, if that even counts as one.....i know there are some well informed ppl here, so chime in, please!

The same things always happen when a sequel of drama were made.
Like waterboys2, everybody compared it with the first one, and many of them contra about which one is best.
But i think, this is an usual thing. Like gokusen2, people maybe said that the second one is not good because the first one is already make a big hit in people's mind. That's why it's so hard to make a drama that can make people feel the same hit as the first one. With the same plot, a story about a yakuza teacher and bad students, i think it's difficult to make a very different things in every episodes. But i think, Gokusen 2 quite success to make people think that this drama worth enough to watch, though the first one will always stay as a big hit in people's mind.

actually i think that yankumi's fighting scenes look pretty fake Bonk
they could have done a better job with the chorography like they did in you're under arrest! where it actually looks painful sometimes

anyway does anyone know who was the guy who played akinishi jin's brother? hes kinda cute Dancing

But i think the fighting scenes were better than the first one's fighting scenes. Though the fighting scenes ine gokusen 2 were pretty fake, but in the first gokusen, the fighting scenes were totally fake!!!
Yea, maybe they should try to make more, more, and more beter fighting scenes later in goku 3.

I completely agree that they should get a decent coordinator for the fighting scenes. I mean, they don't need to hire a big-budget one, just make the fights look at least half decent. Sadly most of the fights in Gokusen and the sequel were just horrible. Yankumi's "super" punch to the stomach that she uses in G2 looks soooo fake. Bleah
