You know, some people pay lots of money to go relax in a place like that. hehe

It's cooling off here in NorCal, with a possibility of showers by tomorrow and Friday. Showers in mid-June?? Head Scratch

There's a bit of a breeze and its still nice in the shade. Probably high 80's.

Thank you Mother Nature. Bow

The humidity finally broke in NY. Ooh excuse me, out here on Long Island it did. It may still feel hot and humid in the city. It is always hotter in the city. We are supposed to get in the high 70sF today and tonight down into the 60sF with a thunderstorm thrown in also. Yea rain!!! That means I do not have to water my lawn or flowers. The humidity can really slow a person down..it feels heavy on your skin. Grumble

Isn't CA, the whole state, getting more rain than usual this year?

Yup. Near-record rainfall for the year... Almost 39 inches. bleh

And the result? Mudslides, landslides, and probably a very ugly fire season later this year with all of that plant growth...

Gotta love California. Beaten

Oh I knew it was bad but I didn't realize that it was continuing to be so bad. I guess weather is changing for the worse all over the world. Sad
I hope you stay safe bmwracer as well as everyone else here.

Thanks.

It's not a problem where I'm at: I'm near the water.

It's the people living in the boonies that have got it bad. Sweat

It must be so lovely living near the water in CA. Smile So earthquakes are not a problem where you live? Sweat

Yeah, it's nice.

But with the current June Gloom, there's not much to see.

It's a problem, but we live with it, just like the people in Japan.

But they're probably much more prepared than we are. Sweat

It is amazing how bad weather can effect your moods. I thought if there was one more snow storm this past winter on Long Island than this Blizzard Queen was going to lose it, so I can imagine how the rain must be such a downer in sunny CA especially in June.

Yes I suppose there is only so much preparation that any area can have for an impending earthquake. When Mother Nature talks we ALL have to listen.

Nice talking with you bmwracer, as always..kind sir. Smile

Yup, consider it one of the prices we pay for living in California. I've lived through numerous earthquakes: one devastating, and many others minor. It will come, no doubt about it, but we try to minimize the damage.
