no i've been there i just haven't been to sawtelle and olympic in a hella long while...i don't have any friends that go to UCLA anymore and i don't have that many friends who live on the west side...they either live in l.a. or in the suburbs scattered everywhere....

Are the portions decent?

I think Curry House is sorta on the skimpy side, but I'm sort of a big eater when I go out. Wink

i believe so but don't hold me to it....like i said it's been a while....can't give any conclusive answer on that one either! but it's been in l.a. for i think over 15 years and it's a transplant of the original in tokyo so...if it sucked it would probably have been closed by now...

Wow, 15 years? Strange that I've never heard of it 'til now.

Hey, ever go to Marina Mago over there in West L.A./Playa Vista?

Really good Japanese food... Used to go there all the time when I was working at Hughes (Aircraft, not the supermarket hehe )... Excellent sukiyaki and yakisoba.

I guess they closed sometime in the 90's unfortunately.

Along with the Japanese restaurant, they had an adjoining take out/fast food restaurant that had these wonderful teriyaki char siu burritos... Yum.

Sure to miss those. Puppy Dog Eyes

I think the slowest car ever is the Kia Rio. Feels like a go-cart...gotta floor that thing so it'll move like my durango at my normal driving Sweat

about lunch....just goes with anything that sounds good. When you're hungry, practically anything will fill you up nicely Mr Green

Some kind of bowl of noodle soup is what I'm craving, don't know if thats what you want for lunch though
