found out my friend doesn't like pho. i've heard of 'never-tried-it' or 'dont'-eat-it-that-often', but not like it?? funny thing is his brother eats pho with me all the time!

You kidding!!! This a first i've ever heard that someone doesn't like Pho....do you know which type of Pho bowl your friend doesn't like...the chicken or the beef types??? Only other thing i can guess why your friend wouldn't like it is because of the broth....strange.... Sweat

Well....i guess it depends on where you live that makes it seem overrated....

I haven't met one person in San Jose who doesn't like to eat Pho.

How sad.... I think its pretty good, but thats my opinion.... have you tried it? Maybe the place you ate it at made a bad bowl of noodles... Crazy

It's not bad. But I prefer ramen or yakisoba if we're talking about noodles.

I really think Pho depends on the restaurant. I've been to places where it's not much better than instant soup, and to other places that are like, wow, they must have spent a few days just making the stock. Yum.

One thing I dont like about the ramen places here is they say they have "ramen" but when it comes out its like chinese noodles. Im like HEY?! This is not ramen, then I noticed that its chinese run..... Shake Head

Yep, I believe the place is called "Ajisan" or something like that... "supposingly" they're only a couple of these ramen places scattered across the world. BS... its a chinese franchise... Sweat

lunch was pasta time But the thing of the day is the Barbeque coming up in the evening and the best of all .. it rained in the day ... so peeeerfect for some hot meat with drinks ..
