Chinese Zodiak question. What happens if you are born in January before the actual chinese New Year. Example if you are born in January 1971. would you be in the year of the dog (1970) or the year of the Boar for (1971) keeping in mind that Chinese New Year starts in February?

I would think it falls under the Lunar calendar since that's just the way Chinese structures their dates... But the whole idea of following the Lunar calendar is confusing considering how each year the New Year begins at different dates. In one year, New Year will start in January, in another year, New Year will start in February. It doesn't make sense.

for me and other people born in the year of the monkey,we do have double personalities.But like myself,I consider myself a joker like how monkey are we inherit something our zodiac animals have and I make people laugh anyways

your chinese zodiac is the LUNAR year you were born in, since CNY changes every year (sometimes in Jan). It doesn't matter what the year is in the western calendar.

I woudln't depend highly on what horoscope says about love life. I think its up to us and our partner to make the relationship work. You might find a Scorpio/ pisces/ taurus, but that doesn't mean your relationship will be perfect right?
