( Disclaimer - hey the stuff is from the movie .. no intention to insult anyone/anything )
speaking of which, the hotel, Park Hyatt in Shinjuku, the lobby is actually on the 41st floor, and the bar scene and lobby, looks just like the movie, except there is no piano there, just put there guess for the movie only. Nice hotel!

piano i can handle .. but that singer ...
ditto(copy-that) that singer was , but scarlett johansen wasn't bad, she is ok. my friend totally loves her.
no, didn't stay there, just walked there from Shinjuku station, about a good 35 min walk(estimating), finally found it while sightseeing since my friend so wanted to go there. We found it, wasn't sure where the lobby was, so we walk around the building(huge building), and finally entered and discovered the lobby wasn't on the ground floor, so we went up and up to the 41st, and found it. Actually stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel and stayed there most of the week in Tokyo during our last trip in May.

so this shingawa place .. was it good
oh yeah. I recommend staying at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, four star hotel, do a search online and check out the pix. I stayed there during my first stay in Japan back in June '03, and during my recent trip May '05. The price wasn't too bad, figuring you are staying in Tokyo, in a four star Hotel, and a nice big city like Shinagawa, which is across the street from the main station. the price per nice after tax/hotel fee, was about roughly $125 a night, which is not too bad for two twin beds, and for two people in one room.
I have never been to Paris, someday, it has a lot of nice things, and it is a good place to take that special someone, perhaps someday i will take Nana there.....(***dreaming***)
also, i heard that the Tokyo Tower(looks like the effel tower), is actually taller than the one in Paris.

I'm here ......
Charlotte: So, what are you doing here?
Bob: Uh, a couple of things. Taking a break from my wife, forgetting my son's birthday. And, uh, getting paid two million dollars to endorse a whiskey when I could be doing a play somewhere.
Charlotte: Oh.
Bob: But the good news is, the whiskey works.
