What Anime Would You Like To See As A J-drama?

A live action Fruits Basket?? Imagine what it would be like with all the transformation, gotta be really excited, ne?!

I think Imai Tsubasa is sorta too soft-looking for Kyo (and too pretty?! ^___^). How about Hayato Ichihara (http://jdorama.com/artiste.1730.htm), that dude who played in WaterBoys 2? Personally I think he would make a perfect Kyo, though the problem is that he's kinda short, but Tsubasa isn't that much taller than him either.

As for what other anime I'd love to see made into dramas, I'd say, Hikaru no Go (it seems very easy to produce, but might appeal more to the young kids?), or Kare Kano as a little romantic comedy drama? I think Jdramas lack these romantic comedy type of dramas that have been produced continously in recent years by Koreans or Taiwanese. Sometimes, female viewers want some romance too!! (not the cheesy, corny ones like Taiwanese dramas, no offense!). Kare Kano is a pretty good and deep anime/manga (despite it being a shoujo manga) that focuses a lot on character development and the plot. Of course there're draggy parts but the director can always cut them out, right?

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but I think School Rumble would be a perfect. It wouldn't require anything high budget, and I'm sure there are plenty of actresses who can display Tenma's quirky-ness pretty easily (Morning Musume's Kamei Eri comes to mind pretty easily).

I dunno if Naruto would be a great drama cauz is very difficult to do a drama with so much power and magic, ( but i love the anime!) also for freat basket even if a really to see that.
Hikaru no go seems interesting! and why not hanakimi? kare kano also!

Naruto would be hard to do as a drama i think. Like you said, all those ninjitsu and genjitsu (sorry if i spelled it wrong) would be a bit hard to do. A lot of special effects would have to be use...possible to do, but maybe too expensive....
