Oh man. I remember reading that manga when I was in the 7th grade. And believe me, that was a long time ago. 
I can't picture it as a drama, however. IMO, better off watching the NBA.

I think coming up with the right cast will be the toughest for this.
Where will they find kids who can act and are about as tall as Abe Hiroshi
I think if they got a good cast, it'll be good to watch as long as the basket is 10ft above the ground not like 8ft in that MVP drama
