i got a bunch of akiko pix to post, but have to scale down most of them, since www.imageshack.us doesn't allow upload pix of over 1,024 kilo-bytes, just over 1 megabyte. Most of my akiko pic are higher res at over 1 mega-byte of memory. A bit tedious work, but will try to scale some down and re-post some new ones.

pics of over an MB ... WHOW ... what r they like .bmp or what .... i have very high resolutions pics of like 1400x1200 also but in jpeg they fit in like around 300 kb
maybe u shld try photobucket ... it automatically brings size down to 250 kb ...

yeah, already tried photobucket, but don't like the limited monthly bandwidth, atleast you don't need to save it on the desktop, but i do anyways, with my pix collection. I like imageshack.us, except the limitation of the pix of 1024kb, cause i got lots that are over that. I think they are bitmap files, maybe if i switch them over to jpeg file, but that is a lot of work one by one, i got over 80 pix files of akiko alone. But will add some photos of her laters... be sure to comment/contribute to the other threads i am trying to maintain, like yui ichikawa, etc...

yeah, i think on photobucket, if you join the paid member account, you can get higher limits on the bandwidth and the number of pix/memory is higher, i just got the free accounts. and my imageshack is free. don't think i got a limit on mine with the number of pix or the bandwidth, which is nice, but the pix res. can only go up to 1,024kb

yeah i never use bmp .. unless really needed
jpeg and gif ... use much much less file size ... and image quality is also same .. except some specific cases where the conversion might spoil some of the image

all these j-girl pix that i get off the 'net, lots of them are in 'bit format, so it takes more memory, the akiko pix i got off this one site, dang....80mb for those pix, some high res bitmaps....will figure out to scale'em down and post, but give me some time...they will trickle in little by little, enjoy your akiko as it comes in...
yeah, the conversion/scale down, does affect it some, but some of them that i have scaled down, have been looking ok so far.
