Thanks tk_iva! Yup that soon as in 8 more sleepless nights wondering how things will go for me and my friend. Unfortunately I do not know of any other source of tickets. It's my first time to go.

Thanks roaceica! This is a "go for broke" trip so I do hope that we get seats with good vantage view. We need all the luck to get tickets for the 2nd and 3rd night too!

Don't worry Gigi! I watched the Sapporo Dome opening day concert on the 30th and it was all worth it!!! The boys were great and as usual Takuya was looking as dashing as ever, but Shingo also looked really good in his solo number outfit..
And bring lotsa money to buy the concert goods!! I spent more on concert goods than I did on my ticket.... The cap alone set me back 3000 yen, but I think it was worth it. Its very Nakai-kun!!!!

Recently I was going through some of my old SMAPXSMAP. And one of Shingo skits where he wore a shiny kimono and dance enka was really entertaining. Especially the song was addicting. This is the nicest Enka song I heard. Anyone konw what song is it or have the song?
Have done up more SMAP X SMAP clips to share.
Pardon the stall in the first 15-30s of the clips - I still haven't gotten the hang of using the video converter software yet and the beginning of the segments are chopped off a little. Gomen!
These 2 clips are from the 2003 Live Broadcast in January.
The boys are playing the Baketsu Game.
We all know the ending but these 2 segments are particularly fun!

I think he was impersonating as Matsudaira Ken with his song "Matsuken Samba". LoL..I saw that shinny kimono being sold in Takashimaya, Shinjuku LMAO..

Well I did take a pic of the concert goods but I don't know how to upload it... if anyone can help me I can send the photo to you to help me upload...
But anyways, the neon light thing with the SMAP letters is a little stupid IMO but its an absolute must have!! All these lights waving in the darkened dome made it feel like I was sitting in a universe full of stars ! It was super heavenly!!
Well, about the concert - the first song they did was Bang Bang Bakance and they came in fr the back of the hall and walked all the way up to the stage. They boys were in black suits and tie and they looked so kakkoi...... *faint*
In the middle, they dressed up as all the characters in SMAPSMAP like Katsuken and dameningen and host club hikaru and yuka and tsuyoshi appreared as spiderman.... it was hilarious.
One tip though... go and learn all the para para moves of the that noma noma ay song so you can do it with them on stage......As usual takuya looked really hot in that white suit of his.....
As for the individual numbers, they were all great. Everybody was in tune, even Nakai-kun!! He was hilarious..... he came out in this tight red outfit with hot pants and boobs and had a whip to slash all the dancers.... I must say Shingo looked really good in that black suit..... takuya was all beachy in his song, "Special" and tsuyoshi's half korean and half japanese number was really nice.
I thought they would sing some of the older songs like Lion heart but they did not. They did seikai ni hitotsu on a rotating stage and was rising so i thought that it was quite cool. Also, towards the end of the show when the boys were being pushed around the dome in their carts to greet the fans, Takuya did a slow version of Original Smile which had kinda like a folksy tune to it. Have not heard it before but it brought shivers down my spine, so it was so touching.
Before we knew it, the 3hrs and 45mins went by, and the concert was over... too soon, but nevertheless, ......good value for money!!

thank you very much for sharing your experience sumoboy !!! you are really lucky to have seen them perform live. i wish i could do that too someday in my lifetime. have u tried using photobucket for u/ling the pictures? i think that's what most of them use in u/ling pictures. i also don't know so much of these computer stuff. been wanting a takuya banner for the longest time now but i don;t know how to make one.
and to GIGI,itaguyod mo ang mga PILIPINA ha pagdating mo dun sa Japan(just telling her to bring the hearts of the Filipino in japan with her)!!! _________________

Sugoi ne!!! Really like to thank you so very much for sharing your experience sumoboy !!! by reading ur descrption and I really aching to watch the dvd!!! I have ordered some of the concert stuff but I also haven decided whether still want to order the neon light thing with the SMAP letters.. and other stuff like the mobile strap cos I haven seen the picture yet.. its so expensive!! hopefully can see some concert pic too..
Personally I prefer SMAP version as I think Eric Clapton version doesn't really bring out the nice smoothing melody of the Song. But full credits to Eric Clapton for penning such a wonderful song for SMAP.
i must say,all smap fans who are going or already watched the concert are so lucky...why?1st,the tickets..i know they had a hard time getting those tickets...it costs them quiet a fortune(they must've been doing household chores for their mums...hehehe)2nd reason, for those foreign fans, they've finally stepped in Japan!3rd,they've seen those mouth-watering smap guys in flesh!and live!
on the 1st day of their concert(w/c was held in sapporo,ne?)i was bawling my eyes off because i really wanna go and watch but i just can't...so,i ended up watching the MIJ DVD while the concert was going on...pathetic,ne?
for those who's going at the concert....give us some details,please.....
arigatou!!!!
thanks for sharing ! am just curious tho...correct me if i am wrong---those stuff are:slippers, fan, bag obviously, umbrella, towel, keychains, notebook and pad.right???
edit***
did u watch this week's smapxsmap?
just would like to ask...is shingo's hair as of the moment dyed in black back again? like the one in this week's roulette bowling? or is it dyed in light brown(the shingo in bistro and bang!bang!)? really curious... _________________

I think they had a early recording on this week's roulette bowling instead of live.. so in the earlier times.. shingo dyed in blank and now currenly he dyed his hair in light brown.
GREAT NEWS!!! for those cannot watch the concert in Japan.. SMAP CONCERT 2005 DVD can be pre-ordered and it will be out on 07 DEC 2005... hahaha.. cant wait for the DVD and see them singing and dancing
