oh ya, another thing, just woke up and read thru all the previous pages...
and

WHO SAYS THE ONE ALBUM IS TOP OF THE CHARTS?

i mean, it just came out yesterday!

i checked the oricon chart and it's not even there...
Smap is still no. one in the weekly chart...
i've not heard of a daily chart.
correct me if i'm wrong.

here's their official website:
http://www.oricon.co.jp/ranking/

and i'm in tokyo right now, maybe i can check what their daily rankings are at hmv, or tower records. btw, their music stores are like gigantic! 7 stories of cds, dvds, books, magazines, knick knacks, but they don't even sell wink up or myojo and miserably few boyband pic books. our arashigoto was kind of hiding in a corner...haha! seems like the bigger music shops or book shops kind of ostracize johnny's. i can even find more books and magazines on arashi in bangkok!!!

Tokyo Tower is a film starring Matsumoto Jun, Okada Junichi, Hiroki Hitomi and a few others. This movie was released in January 2005.

The storyline is about students in their 20+ who fell in love with women in their 30s-40s. Jun's role in the movie is that of a student dating 3 women at the same time. There is a woman in her 30s, the ex-classmate whose mom he bedded before and his current collegemate who is his girlfriend.

I'm going to u/l that into my clubbox again. I've already u/led this movie once before on YSI. I'll most probably do it again at a later date for those of u who wants it, please pm me. or u could leech it off me at IRC #arashi channel.

fybabe - this is the daily ranking page in oricon

tokyo tower is a movie that was screened around valentine's day this year in japan. (or around that time i guess)
it was very popular with women because the storyline involves two 20smthing year old guys falling for women twice or nearly twice their age.
Junichi Okada from v6 falls sickly (literally pathetically) for this 40yr old married woman who's supposed to be the most gorgeous 40something yr old actress in japan.

and our jun seduces this 30+++ year old bored housewife, and on top of that he's actually a horny player with a girlfriend, and sleeping with a classmate's/friend's (didn't understand the japanese no subs yet) mom. and seen with other girls. ok, lots of bed scenes, kissing, etc... HOT period.

that's why i said you're probably not a jun fan if you haven't seen this...

EDIT

cool, i didn't know arwenna has replied already while i was writing this. anyway thanks for the miscom clear up about the one album.

BED SCENES?! KISSING?! YOU MEAN JUN DOES ALL THAT STUFF?! Shocked Shocked Shocked

What a weird movie...personally, I don't like younger guy-older women relationships! I prefer same age, or young girl (around 18) and old guy (around 30). hehe

Yay I finished another translation of the MC...

Gomen slow working speed.. I'll go out coz [off-topic:] I'm going to a Hillsong United concert later... I wish I lived in Japan.. then I'll be going to *other* cons instead

Anyway.. me go do the rest tmr xDDD

>>>>>
MC for 1/8 Yoyogi matinee 2:30pm
*Opening introduction:
Sho said "This morning I've set my alarm clock to 9am." But then, he didn't wake up even it rang. [^^ Just like me] His mom then went to wake him up in 10-minute intervals... until 9:42, Sho's mom said "There are tons of people waiting for you in Yoyogi!" That was the thing that made Sho get off his butt and wake up xDD

*When Sho was introducing Aiba's solo "Itsuka no Summer", he mentioned that lately he noticed that there was a wound on Aiba's hand/arm. When he asked Aiba what happened, Aiba said that a pig scratched him. [m(_ _)m pig pig] After that, Sho said "Coming up, let's listen to the song that Aiba who-doesn't-care-that-he's-been-scratched-by-a-pig brought us, 'Itsuka no Summer'." [^^" Nya don't make things complicated]

*After that, Aiba didn't like the way that Sho introduced his solo. Sho then said "The song's name should not be 'Itsuka no Summer', it should be 'Otsukare Summer'." [Then the lyrics won't match @@] Aiba said he'll talk about it with the record company. (laughs)

*Aiba led Shimura Ken to Arashi's resting room. Once they got in, Aiba said "This is Arashi's resting room~" The Nino said "U should have introduced the members first" (laughs)

*They mentioned that Shimura Ken is a really nice person. Two days before the show (which he went to be guest), Aiba asked him to do the "moustache dance" with him. Without hesitation, he agreed to do so. Aiba was very nervous about doing the show in front of Shimura Ken. So, everyone asked him if he had felt nervous in Shimura Ken's presence in the zoo shootings. Aiba's answer is no. Then everyone asked "How come you're so freaked out about him coming to che concert? Is it because the "you" in concerts is very fake?" [or vain xD] Aiba's reply is that he shows his "true self" in concerts, that's why he's so nervous. [^^"... so u mean the "u" outside concerts is the fake one?]

*Then they talked about going to kouhai's [opposite of senpai] concerts. When asked whether they would sing "A.RA.SHI" if the kouhai asked them to, Aiba said yup. Sho said "Actually I did so for once." (laughs) In the SUMMARY con last year [if u dunno, it's led by jrs like KAT-TUN & NewS], Sho did sing "A.RA.SHI" on stage... and it was noted to be a very emotional performance. [... emotional?]

*Aiba said "Sho and I once went boxing for a magazine photoshoot. Although Sho looks like he has alot of muscles, [duh xD] in fact he is really weak." xD Nino also said that when they were in Australia for the USG [a tense and fun-to-watch physical game] shooting, he and Sho played arm-wrestling to see who was the weakest in Arashi. At the end Nino won. (laughs) As for Sho, because he tried too hard to win [but didn't xD], his arm hurt alot afterwards. It still painful in the shooting of "Yankee Bokou ni Kaeru" after they went back to Japan. Then he finally realised that he had really injured his arm when he went to the hospital. [O_O daijyoubu?! *shakes Sho*]
After that, Sho still wanted to win in arm-wrestling and he went to gym to train his muscles for that. When he arrived at the gym, the instructor said "There is no direct relationship between muscles and the strength of your wrist." This made Sho feel like he was fooled. xDD
[*Back to the con*] Then they started touching each other's muscles O_o [let's put it as "comparing" 8D]. For Sho's arm was all covered in sweat [ya u recall Nino calling Sho a fish in 03? Or was it Nino who said it @@], Nino kindly helped Sho dry his arm. (laughs)

*Koyama, Kato and Masuda from NewS came to watch this show. They went on stage in the encore. When Arashi was singing "Kokoro no Chirari" [I'm not 100% sure if it's the right one ><], Masuda danced along too. ^^"

Arashi has seriously made me Nut

I was just planning to see if there is any JDorama here and guess what I found? Sho's "Yoiko no Mikata" (Preschool Guy) Mr Green Bonk Only problem is... there's no English subtitles, only Chinese and my Japanese is just as weak. BUT YES I BOUGHT IT.

There's also Nino's Stand Up!! Should I get it???? There's Gokusen 2 and Gokusen (Night Class) but NO GOKUSEN... bah! Or Kimi wa Petto either.

the clip where sho is relaxing and ohno is working hard is so funny!! i kinda like sho better now because of that. before, i didn't really like him because i thought he was boring and everybody's all crazy for him and i'm like "what's so special abou t him?" but now i have seen the light! jun's still number one to me though hehe. i guess that's the whole purpose of these shows they do, get more people to like them by showing their true selves.

EDIT you can get kimi wa petto at http://japan-tv.afraid.org:6969/ and gokusen at http://www.sars-fansubs.com/?id=current i didn't really like gokusen 2 i thought kattun was just bleh
