Hey z123_us,
That is 1 movie that will stand the test of time, for sure. But z123_us I can't be your brother, but I can be your sister! I'm a girl.

that is cool that they showed her in Kyoto station/Kyoto Imperial palace, unfortunately, i didn't get to see imperial palace in Kyoto.
Just wished in the movie, they showed longer scenes of her in Kyoto.
Well at least you got to Kyoto qilver. Good for you!!! One of these days I will make it there. I wished they had shown more of Kyoto too. I also liked the party scenes where Bob goes out with Charlotte and her friend Charlie Brown. What type of gun was that bartender shooting at Charlie?

yeah, that was weird, with that toy gun they had, and the karoake scene, that was great, and some of the songs they were singing, especially Bill Murray singing "more than this".
yeah Kyoto was great, spent two days there, I have a weblog with my kyoto/tokyo japan trip pix, check it out, i am updating them, it was from my vacation to Japan(2nd time), a few months ago. so, check it out.

Ooh was that a toy gun? Then why were they running and throwing a beer bottle at the bartender on the street? Good scene though!
Oooh Kyoto for two days. How wonderful!!!! I will check out your weblog, thanx qilver!

looked like a toy gun or something, that was a weird scene them running and the beer bottle throwing, but it was cool that they went thru a pachinko parlor. I went to one in Kyoto, and it was weird but fun.
yeah check out the pix from my trip, going to also eventually make it into a regular weblog after i upload some more of my japan trip pix. It was the best trip ever, so far.

You are too funny z123_us, too funny!!!! I think it was the 2nd time with me. I could be a dudette! I finally chose an avatar so that all the board members here will know I am a girl. Don't feel bad z123...when I first joined this MB I thought that dochira and bmwracer were girls because I belong to another MB where people use their own pics as avatars so I got totally 'lost in translation' here also! Yeah I prefer that I am a girl too!!! So OK my brother see ya later.
PS. @z123_us:
What kind of gun was it that the bartender used to shoot at Charlie Brown and his friend in the movie ? A toy gun with lights coming out of it?

I guess maybe they ran down the street and threw the beer bottle at the bartender just cuz they got chased out of the club.

@z123_us & Enna,
i guess we all can get mixed up with the genders if we are not sure, i usually can tell by the name or atleast the sig/avatar pix. Unless it is confusing on the name of pix. With Enna, i knew by the name, that she was a girl. also, got your "pm" thanks, keep checking the site, will update it laters. I didn't know about the blue dots being cold and the hot ones, i didn't noticed the hot drinks, maybe i overlooked them. I didn't know you went also, around the same time, cool. show me your pix and do you have a weblog of your trip? first time going?
@z123_us, i knew you were a guy by your avatar and then of course your devotion to akiko. Guys usually have a car or a cute girl, girls have guys as their avatar.
Also, In Lost in Translation, it was so funny to see Charlie Brown wasted from the alcohol when they were singing Karoake(named after the cartoon?!) now you guys got me wanted to watch it again and again, i love that part, "for relaxing times, make it......suntory time." also Matthew Best Hit TV, it is a real show, aya ueto was a guest on his show before.

btw: i think while i was watching it, it was all just as a prank, the toy gun and beer bottle scene in the movie, was interesting. I was like, what?!, bizarre.
did i tell you while i was in Shinjuku with my friend(i went with my friend to Japan), we walked from the Shinjuku station to Shinjuku Park Hyatt, took 40 min's, something like that. And we couldn't believe the lobby wasn't on the ground floor, so we walked all the way around the building/street and figured out that it was on the 41st floor, and not the ground floor, when we finally saw the sign inside the building on the ground floor. We took it up, and saw the familar scenery lobby set from "Lost In Translation" on the 41st. But no piano in the bar area. also, didn't see any of the other areas, like ikebana room, conference room, hotel rooms, or swimming pool. Probably on other floors. I just saw the lobby, and bar areas, also where Bill Murray used the "phone" to call scarlett before he left.

I had a feeling Matthew's Best Hit TV was a real TV show host. I loved when he said: Radies and Gentrmen....Mr Bob Harris!!!!! da dah da dah, da dah da dah!!!! I loved his striped suit with those high water pants. I loved his Japanese dance!!! He reminded me of Pee Wee Herman. (remember him?)

They get the R's and L's mixed up, the way Matthew was saying all that, was strange yet funny. He is a weird one, funny dance yeah....
a japanese pee wee, heh
thanks for the URL, will check it out. Did you know he has a drink, kind of like Calpis, Calpico kind. I saw it at the local Japanese Market, and i couldn't believe it. I am not sure if it is selling anymore.
