Sleeping Forest comes to my mind, it evoked a very poignant feeling that they were not meant to be together, only in their dreams.

Another great conclusion to a series would be Searching for my Polestar. Although it was a sad ending in a way, it tells of letting go and moving on in your life. Very life affirming.

Sekai no Chuushin de, i think it was the best ending although it was sad and all. It brought closure to everything, how aki's life has influenced everyone.

I most the ending of this drama:-

101 kaime no puropozu [101ڂ̃v|[Y](101/ 101V/ The 101st proposal)

after many problem, BY(cS) finally get the love of @O(쉷q), the story like the child story . but very touching~!

BY is a short & looks ugly man
@Ois a beautiful musican

Last Christmas, GTO and Gokusen (the movie and the series) had the best endings. GTO's final, intense build-up and denouement was spectacular! Amazing scriptwriting and adaptation from the anime.

GTO had a funny twisted ending for me I guess.
The impression they left is still there after years.

Your picks are the same as mine.
Sora Kara for the most unforgetable heartwrenching ending. I even made a long comment about it on the dorama info page.
Long Vacation as the best satisfying wonderful ending ever Mr Green

Thirded.

Though, I was disappointed with the end of the series, as a whole. (see my detailed review Smile)

I still consider it one of my favorite dramas...the chemistry b/n Kou & Satoshi was superb...it's no wonder they are actually a pair in real life. Screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa delivers a high percentage of hits and the high ratings of OD, in a time of poor TV ratings, belies that fact.
