I couldn't get the file to upload so I spent my time doing a simple translation (based on the Chinese subs) of the show. Until Nanai from Pieces can do a much more accurate sub, I think my lousy one is readable for now. She will probably get a fit if she sees this though...
Wow, thanks so much for the translation pochipochi! That must have been a lot of work and such a good job! I really appreicate it!

I have tried to keep the translation close to the original Chinese subs but it is bound to be inaccurate one way or another. So just treat it as a leisure read, for fun ya?

and thanks for the AWAKE pics!!!!!!!!!!!
So, now I'm gonna to answer the question how I'm became interested in Laruku.
herbst 2004
I was sitting with two friends at my home on the Computer.
I said to them when they download something they have to erase it.
So, they loaded lots of J-Music Clips.
I was very desinterested, I'm not really open for new stuff.
They asked me if I know GTO.
Of corse i know it, so they showed me Driver's High PV.
Ohh, sounds cool and what they play on their insturments are real high quality.
That's was the first I think 'cause German music have no quality and sounds like trash.
In the german charts are only trash.
So I begin again listen to music.
I only knew 3 songs:
- Driver's High
- HEAVEN'S DRIVE
- DIVE TO BLUE
I always listen to this songs only.
Some weeks later my friends came again and showed me some another clips by Laruku.
I downloaded all albums.
Now I'm only listen to Laruku music (with some exceptions).

hmm i probably got interested in l'arc just cuz I wanted to get into Jrock more.. and I had heard quite a buzz about l'arc en ciel.. so i got the smile CD on Ebay.. and at first i not they were okay.. like not bad.. but the more i listened to them the more i realized how talented they all were! Hydes voice is amazing! and ken is SOO AWESOME with the guitar solos and yuki never fails as a good drummer.. MUST I EVEN COMMENT ON TETSU'S BASS?? haha l'arc en ciel is like one of the only bands where i can actually HEAR the bass!.. and of course.. THEY ARE ALL SOOO HOT! haha
Have you seen the movie Kagen no Tsuki? In that movie, HYDE's character, Adam, is part of a band called "Evil Eye". Were you asking about the Evil Eye clip that was uploaded before? That was a behind the scene type clip of HYDE's band Evil Eye from the movie.

Wow, this topic is soo hot!
Now that someone mentioned that, its been 8 yrs I've been into L'Arc! OMG!
Well, 8 yrs ago, I was relatively new to Japanese music and my only source were Music Station and a jap-slot on radio every sun (i think). Most of my influences then were only Jpop, you know, like SPEED. Glay was the most popular band around but really, they weren't my cup of tea, and Jpop always sounds better to newbies.
Until one day, they played PIECES on radio. In an instant, i was captivated by Hyde's awesome and emotive voice and that melodious tune. I didn't catch their name, so i made sure i took down their name the next time. Actually, i tot they were some old man band cos i nv tot someone with that voice would actually look decent.
The 2nd song i heard was DRIVER'S HIGH but i really wasn't that impressed as i did with PIECES but i think it still sounds really good and energetic. So i was thinking, "geez, i must check them out real soon!"
And WHAMP! I caught the RED WHITE Kouhaku Competition '98 and almost fainted 'cos the band that i'm so interested in is a FREAKIN COOL & TOTALLY AWESOME BAND in JAPAN! Basically turned ga-ga after I bought their GCC! LOLz (*.*)
Since then, I've been a LArc hard-core addict... and never never did i look back! _________________
