hmm ohno and jun dressed as samurai..that'd be hot! they should do a taiga drama or maybe an ancient style movie. a while ago someone mentioned that they did dress up this way for fns or something? what is fns ? about the boys singing: i think that they all have their good moments and their bad moments. it just depends on the song choice. well except for ohno, i think he's always good.

sensei, i'm gonna kick your ass!
i do have a life beyond these boys... just that it's gotten super choked up recently with the addition of these guys! i don't remember changing my lifestyle except staying up way too late at night on mirc and of course the splurging sucks... hehe
and i made a few new friends that i wouldn't even have dreamed of in my clubbing and parties and client meetings and travelling and overtimes in my 'normal' life! btw, i'm having a party later... that's why i won't be on the net...

and i'm not deaf so i can tell who can sing and who can't sing. but i feel arashi is more entertainers than true singers... to be brutally honest, they don't even write their own songs or play their own instruments (nino does once in a blue moon, but still, he didn't arrange their songs)...

we all know they were formed not based on their singing capabilities, maybe other than ohno (who knows), but based on their looks, or basketball abilities Sweat i mean those kids were like 13 yrs old when picked! i can't even tell a bass guitar apart from a classical guitar when i was 13!! ok, maybe some of you geniuses out there can...

and we all know from their countless interviews how they were formed. they were baka clueless and helpless about it as well. somehow, all the dancing, v, c, d no arashi, talk shows, marketing, concerts, dancing and of course singing helped define the overall impression of the group.

and i was attracted to the group at first with jun's ACTING. that already speak volumes about the group. this can't happen with cold play you know... i did mention before many times that they are like the most high profile guys i know... ok, johnny has a way of making his guys seive through the deadliest alleys...

so maybe we shouldn't pick solely on their limited voices, but more what they stand for. of course i love their songs, but i do love their v, d, d no arashis, waza aris, magos, dancing, films, dramas, etc... as well!

Hi again!!

MORE PAGES!! 400 pages coming soon...

My friend always tells me that I only love Arashi because of the guys, not for the music.
I can say that isn't right. I loved Arashi since I saw them performing PIKANCHI, that was the first song I listened to and liked.
I think the guys are an important part of my love for Arashi, but I love their music too!
People think their music is a little noisy compared to another classic and popular singers such as Hamasaki Ayumi, Otsuka Ai, Hirai Ken, EXILE, etc.
I know they don't have wonderful voices, but they have something that makes you like their music, they can make it nice to listen.

Sho
My favorite member forever! I know his voice isn't excellent, but He has made a good work with it, and can sing very good. I must say I really love his rap more than when he sings, but He sings much better than some really talented people that sing out of tune, and don't seem to be a professional sometimes.
In his solos, I have never listened to him singing out of tune.
Sho's rapping gives Arashi style, that makes different Arashi from other Johnny's groups.
But I know, He isn't an excellent singer, you can notice the difference with other singers such as the girl that plays Maria in WSS.

Ohno
In my opinion, the best voice of Arashi!
He has a pretty and nice voice, really different of the other members. Ohno-kun even if he isn't so popular like the others, I like his voice, and Arashi without him coudn't be the same.
Go leader!

Nino
My second choice on best voice of Arashi. He really sings very good, but I like more Ohno-kun. I like when he plays his guitar in his solos, or in some live performances such as a PIKANCHI one. He also has his part on Arashi, he is so funny and makes me to laugh a lot.

Aiba-chan!
The funniest Arashi member!! He is my first choice on this!
Nobody can surpass Aiba's funny and cheerful character. He also have a very good voice, not the best, but It's nice to hear.

MatsuJun
I don't know how to describe Matsu Jun... He is my second Arashi favorite member, after Sho-kun!
He is very talented person, I like his voice too, it's nice to hear. He is also a very good actor together with Nino. He is my second choice on "Sexiest Arashi member", after I saw his solo in One Concert, or a part of it.
I have seen him in Kimi wa petto, and I liked his character, I only complain about every kiss scene He has to do, I think people that love him maybe suffer a lot when see him on that scenes, but maybe they are get used to see him. I don't know. Some girls dream on being kissed like the girls of his doramas. Hahaha.. Mr Green

Finally, favorite Arashi things:
1. Their voices and their songs!
2. Sho's rapping! That makes me love Arashi!
3. Members... all of them are different and have something that gives Style to the group, and make it unique. That's why I hate whern people say "Japanese Backstreet boys". They are more than that.
4. Dance, they are great dancers, but I couldn't say who is the best, I love all of them.
5. I love learning the dance moves of their songs, to dance with their songs anywhere when I sing their songs. Dance with fans and with them!
I think learning the lyrics of every songs, and dance moves of them make s you enjoy more their music.

Tooo large!!!
I left some things to write, but those are the mainly reasons for loving Arashi!!
Arashi isn't Arashi if some member isn't on it![/b]

OMG you guys, MITE MITE! lookie what I found, it's One concert footage...cant wait for the dvd...I'm gonna upload them one part at a time....I've been watching them nonstop all day.. hehe

And to make up for talking about Jun's singing in my earlier post (he just doesnt know how to control his pitch very well), I'll start with W/Me...link below the cap..

The other videos I have are Itsuka no Summer, Rain, Yume de II kara, Right Back to You, Natsu no Namae/Days, Himitsu, Sho/Aiba skit and the MC...

Filefront isn't working right now, so I'm trying to use YSI (which generally hates me) Doh! but I'll also put them in my clubbox later...

PS...I love Sho's rapping and singing...grrrrr...it's just not suited for pop songs, he has a rnb/rappers voice

Come and get me. I dare you. No?.... chicken. Naughty
Honestly though i didn't really mean anything insulting about that though there is some hidden truth in that. I mean you stayed up till 8am talking about arashi after a hard day work. I just don't have that level of dedication.

thanks gacktsama for the ONE concert clips. Although i must say, i'm a little disappointed. i kinda wish they would sing live at their concerts. i mean, plenty groups do it, and yes, most groups dont sound that good when they sing live. but its what the audience wants. [or maybe just me Crazy ] but idk, it bothers me a little when they lip-sync alot. [not whenever they do it, just that they do it rather frequently]

sorry for the downer attitude Shameful Cry

,but i do love these guys, and their music Victory! Peace!

Yeah I despise lip synching too, no matter what the excuse, you should sing live, but it goes back to what I said about them not being exeptional singers..but I'd rather hear an artist tottally butcher the song, than to lipsync...though mostyl ARashi sings over the top of their own songs, which isnt quite lipsyncing I guess...Jun's solo was definately not live!

Shibien Yeah I'm always looking for Shimura stuff, but it's harder to find..I tried Emule, Limewire and Winmx, still havent found that many yet Grumble Are you looking it up by "VˁIuǂԂ‰"(Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen) or just "V" (tensai) or "tI"(aiba masaki) I tend to get better results like that from search engines and various p2p programs.

I'm off to play video games untill all this stuff finishes uploading...nite ladies and fellows

Minna, finally I am a little bit useful for this forum Dancing Victory! Peace! w00t!
I just bougth the latest "Seventeen" with ARASHI in it ... so, here are the pics:
http://photobucket.com/albums/b38/Shinobu_/arashi%20-%20seventeen/?action=view&current=seventeen1.jpg
http://photobucket.com/albums/b38/Shinobu_/arashi%20-%20seventeen/?action=view&current=seventeen2.jpg

http://photobucket.com/albums/b38/Shinobu_/arashi%20-%20seventeen/?action=view&current=seventeen5.jpg

Unfortunately, I have no scanner or other technical equipment, so I used the veeery old DigiCam. The quality is not the best, but hey! It's Arashi! Dancing

About the synching at concerts ... I don't mind. I mean, they have a big show with a lotlotlotlot dance performances and stuff. So, I am just enjoying their entertaining show.

Haro again here's my sneak time xD

Me finari got off my bum n translated one Arashi con MC..

I read that u discussed about Jun being sensitive n stuff. Coincidentally they mentioned that in the concert! xDDD

MC for One concert 16/8

*They got a copy of POPOLO on stage for their original intention was to test each other with the personality test in it. When they opened the mag, they landed on a page with SMAP giving off tons of kakkoii-vibes. Arashi was on the next page, but they all had funny costumes O_o... [sense the weirdness?] Everyone ROFL-ed.

*Sho then said "let's do it (the personality tests) now." Aiba opposed. They started talking about how these tests can show your *internal world*.. and that Jun would always say "What the hell do you know about me!" after reading his results. It seems that Jun wasn't very nice to the editor of the magazine becoz of this. Aiba said he was worried that Jun's deeds like this would make them lose their job in POPOLO, so Jun made up an *innocent face* and said "I love *tone* personality tests." [Don't step over the line or we won't be able to see u in the mag ever again T_T]

*Okay so now on with the test..
Sho read, "The question is: Which of the following would u say applies on you?
(1) Big eyes (Jun said "Do thick eyebrows count?")
(2) Small hands
(3) High voice [aka DUCK xDD] (Aiba said "ME!")
It is supposed to show if you will love in the first sight.
Nino had two out of three correct, and the answer for it is "Very sensitive (to the girl). Is a love expert. However, carelessness will cause you failure." Nino said "I often find/meet very kawaii girls easily. But it's just "find" [as in knowing her existence xD], I won't do anything."
Everyone else got 0-1 answers correct, and the answer is "Never failed in relationships. However, you are very cool (to gf and others)"
Then everyone started to talk about how cool Jun is [it's not the kakkoii cool, it's like the less-extreme version of Snape xDDD]. Jun got mad and "I'm not cool, compared to Ohno and Aiba, I'm way less cooler." Then they kinda agreed that Ohno was very cool too, as he often dashes out of the room with killer eyes.
Ohno said Jun was very nice and patient, for he always let Ohno sit next to the window when they were on the Shinkansen.
Suddenly, Aiba who was silent for quite a long time, exclaimed "HEY IT'S MY TURN TO TALK!" Everyone scolded him for not knowing how to conform to the current situation.

*Ok off the the next question
Aiba read, "Oo this tests how sexual u are!" [I dunno how to translate >___<" Read on xD]
Everyone said "A test is meaningless when u tell us its use in the first place."
back to the question: You are a married woman and u are seeing someone now behind your husband's back. What type is your lover? [the non-hubby dude]
(1) a 2x yr-old bijin [xDDD our typical JE membas]
(2) a 4x yr-old muscle dude
(3) a 6x yr-old established man who owns a big company [kane 8D]
Sho and Ohno chose (1)
Jun chose (2)
Nino chose (3)
Then Aiba disclosed the answer for (1) first, it's "You cherish spiritual interaction more than doing it. [u get it ya? ^^||]"
Arashi excluding Aiba immediately apologized to the family row. [U know, like their family n friends have priority seats.] They scolded Aiba again for knowing how to conform to the current situation. [the second time that day] Aiba pouted and said "Hey that was written on the mag!"
He wanted to continue to the rest of the answers, but in the end he didn't because he feared that he'll be scolded again. xD

*Sho found one on colors.
Red is Sho, Blue Nino, White Aiba, and Jun is black.
Remaining was "The person who is not restricted by colors.. Ohno Satoshi.. Brown!"
[@@ I don't really get that part]

*Ok the can-kicking game thing.
In the countdown, Aiba said "There was an eating competition in Taiwan and they raced eating meat-filled-buns. The winner was Japanese. This proves that we Japanese cannot be looked down on!" [Ooooo ya I watched the competition and it was... gross xDD. Jap dude was ok-looking and not flabby fat T^T Why?? *kicks around*]

>>>>>
About what fybabe said about them being entertainers more than musicians (or ppl who go on the music road xD).. no offense but I have to agree Sweat

It's kinda the whole thing about JE, no? All the groups (or most) get their big fanbase thru their looks... Or they try to be overall-developed (like getting in dramas n reality shows) Anyway.. The fanbase is still here and we luff them Bonk

>>>>>
@Gackt-chan (u dun mind me calling u that ya? Sweat ): Kyaaaa I wanna watch them and thx for u/ling for us ne xDDD If they will really release a con DVD for it, I'll definitely skip a few lunches for it *gets hyped*

ahh omg jun's w/me performance. he doesn't really sing a lot in this performance does he? his dancing is very good though. more dancing than singing. he is cho sexy but when he did his "pelvic thrusts" i was just like Shake Head and then Confused and then finally rofl it was just too funny! jun is my favorite but some of the moves he did just seemed so funny and did not su it him. hahaha. the girls were just in the way. at least he did this when he bulked up a little bit and not when he was stick thin. i wonder if he coulda picked up that girl a few years ago. haha, oh now i'm just being mean. i still love you jun!

I agree. I thought it wasnt sekushii at all, but hilarious..I laughed the whole way through, very Takki-ish..there is a beat in the song for a reason, you move your body TO it, not just flail it around randomly..but at least he tried..A for effort rofl rofl rofl

As promised..

Aiba - Itsuka no Summer

Ohno - Rain

Next is Sho and Nino's solos - probably tommorrrow, because my butt hurts...[/i]

jun....like takki?........no, say it isn't so!!!!! i've gotta admit, this performance almost made me cry (the only reason why i didn't was because i was holding in my laughter so i won't wake up the family), the moves are just soo.......bad. ahhhh pelvic thrusts, no!! he looked nice but he didn't move nice until the end where he does his kicks. yay for jun and kicks w00t!

we talked about their bad singing. well, i'd say you can say that about everybody in arashi except ohno. as for the rest of them, well, they have their better and worse moments, which is vividly visible (hearable) when you see them performing live sometimes. but say what you want - they always sound good on albums so why worry? Smile

after watching kimi wa petto i found out that jun is in a band the first clip i dl was sakura sake and when i saw jun+heard this voice of his- i was like Sweat but then after some time i got used to it. and now i even like listening to w/me.... and mind you, i have a very good hearing.......so i guess my love to jun "covers" the imperfections of his signing. and the same goes for the rest of arashi boys.

and i think using playback in the concerts has its obvious reasons - it would be even harder for them to sing well while dancing and running. not to mention the loud screams and music - hard to sing in tune....

i love their music anyways!!!!

just watched w/me clip.... i could only say it feels absolutely different from anything arashi so far. "chotto ecchi" duh...

jun's dancing is good but really, those hip and whatever you call that thrusts were... funny.... but then i always laughed when michael jackson did this move....

the moment where he kneels, its toward the end, to me it looked like a poor, lonely boy in a need of a woman... hehe
