I've heard about this drama and hope to get to see it too sometime for as Yamada Takayuki's in it - and he was just great in H2 and sekachu as well n__n _________________ Like the butterfly, I have the strength and the hope to believe In time I will emerge from my cocoon... Transformed.

LOL. He plays the innocent, dumb and good hearted fella here. If you really like him, then watch it. He's performance are quite emotional as well in the drama. But Mirai sometimes steals the show.

yeah i laughed so hard at that scene in the drama, much more than in the movie, so many funny mistakes after eachother, haha i remember how i really laughed my ass off

I just watched a few episodes of WaterBoys 2 (raw) and found it to be less entertaining than the first season. It's funny too, but the characters aren't that memorable to me. Anyway, the second season needs someone like Mirai's character in WB 1 _________________

Not only Mirai. Chars like Tanaka and Takahara adds realism and comedy into the drama as well.

I hear a two-part special episode of Waterboys will be shown this August. Apparently starring Eita (Tanaka from the first WB), anyone know anything about this?

These guys really made Water Boys enjoyable....can't really imagine water boys w/o them Shake Head

yeah, I read that too. It's Waterboys 3.
It seems as if it will be on university level and Eita's character is the same as the one in Waterboys (Tanaka). If I remember correctly he went to Tokyo Daigaku. or at least that's what he wanted to do.
Haven't read much more about it though. but highly anticipating Bow

I've only watched Waterboys 1 drama and it was the best. The cast, the story everything was good. Waterboys2 can't live up to its expectations. Now, we have Waterboys3. I wonder if some of the old cast from WB1 would make some appearance besides Tanaka. For eg, Norio!!! Considering it's university level now, the average age must have risen now.

haven't seen waterboys 2 yet, waiting for english subs for that......if they have it, i just can't find it. I saw the WB movie first and then the drama, the performance they gave at the end was pretty much like the one in the movie to me, but with a different cast and a few different stuff in it. All good though _________________
