The Chinese Zodiac consists of a 12-year cycle, each year of which is named after a different animal that imparts distinct characteristics to its year. Well she is a highly ambitious, successful model/actress. So Ryoko-chan must possess some of those qualities in order to have gotten where she is today career wise. Those qualities aren't as negative as they may sound when used for the good of all.
