Doch said he was leaving at 3PM... Six hour flight, so he'll be in HI at 9PM CA time, or as Aho said, 6PM HI time.

I know the flight from Oahu to Maui is around 20-30 minutes.
A flight from Oahu to Japan takes around 9 hours.
From Oahu, I don't think we can go anywhere in 2 hours, except to Samoa or some other polynesian island I guess. _________________

yeah, Seattle area has a lot of Chinese(cantonese and maybe some mandarin speaking people), but go to parts of NorCal and SoCal, probably even more asians. about a 3 hr flight to Seattle from LAX, a 5 hr flight to Oahu from LAX, and a 10 1/2 hr flight to Tokyo from LAX, depending on the tail/head wind on the flight.

The flight was good (slept throughout the flight) and then we went to Sam Choy's for the rehearsal dinner. Yummy stuff.
Til later!! Hang loose! |

Have fun in Hawaii. |
try flying to and from Tokyo, with no sleep. that is a total roundtrip of 19 hours total. In economy flights, it is hard to sleep on the plane.

only good thing is you can beat people getting on and off the plane first? |
yeah business or first class, but you pay probably three times the amount of Economy, i would probably fly economy to Tokyo for next trip, i don't want to pay too much, would rather use that extra money and spend it in Tokyo.

You know, come to think of it, I never really actually noticed.
I guess so, on clear nights. A lot of stars and stuff. _________________

Maybe on the big island, but not Oahu: too many street lights, I think.
