...beware in what u buy in ebay!! they are all bootlegs!!! just all fake stuff from china and taiwan. Twisted

bootlegs made by taiwan are acceptable and are just as real as the original stuff, however i do not recommend dvd/ cds from china, they mostly have wrong name tracks and soo many repeated tracks which is kinda dodgey.

Hey! That sounded a lil bit harsh! True many things from china and taiwan are bootlegs (sure, they are fake), but u made it sound like china has a bad reputation for making bootlegs. its not china's fault that it makes dvds/cds with "wrong name tracks and soo many repeated tracks," maybe it doesn't take to heart when making foreign products. Well, enuff said. i don't want to drag on w/ this topic. soooooooooooo....
xhikarux, when did you get interested in Laruku? Mr Green

soz i wasnt meaning that, just that u see ppl selling like complied tracks of 39 songs in a set, which is kinda shocking.

bootlegs: http://www.eneabba.net/ayu/music/bootlegs/

these are all ayu's fake cds made from china and sold world world in ebay, click a few of them and u will get what i mean, there are tracks with weird names . also the company hccd or something which is a bootleg company from china. u would recognise all the chinese wrting. offcial copies are produced by avex trax only and oversea avex, not by other companies

i also got a hk singer's cd , kelly chen , which was made by hccd. had recordings of her at karaoke and ppl talking. some songs were cut and joined suddenly to another. Sweat

Actually im not too sure but u hear ppl say in ebay that they are disappointd because the cds/dvds are shipped from/ made in china.

I do own a few taiwan bootlegs, ( sellers in ebay do not tell u whether they are real or not), however i find the quality really amazing, looks exactly like the real ones except different company names and cheaper!

opps off topic! anyway sorry about that, Bow maybe its not ur area which sells it, but other parts.

forget the bootlegs!!! just support Laraku!!!! Victory! Peace!

It is available in the Pieces forum if you can't get it from youyou. I will upload it later anyway, when I get home. I think it is OKAY but it is too dark for my liking. hyde looked good anyway, so isn't that enough? Naughty

It was harsh I guess but thats the image most people have in their minds. I used to buy quite alot of Taiwan bootlegs when I was still a Jpop-noob since they had very good compilations. Anyway it was just a warning with good intentions so don't get too upset about it ya? Pat Pat Pat

Arisu wrote:

Yeah! I doubt they make alot of money from selling to real fans anyway. I can't imagine myself having a closet of Laruku bootlegs and being happy about it. Shake Head

what is it that Jrock bands have that other bands don't? i wonder how come we're all so into Laruku. i don't know what is it about Laruku that got me so hooked that i hardly ever listen to my own country's bands/singers. maybe it's because Hyde has got a BEAUTIFUL voice and he sings in Japanese? my mom says Jap. bands are like drugs! u listen to their 1st song then u get hooked and u try to get everythng that has to do w/ them. Bonk

Warning: long rant ahead

its cause everything we make is better!! nah im just kidding lol. i think we like japanese music because it is like a breath of fresh air compared to what we listen to now. The american and british classics like the Rolling Stones is great, and i love Dream theater, but a lot of modern stuff, like Limp Bizkit and Blink 182(sorry if anyone here is a fan) is just screaming and swear words.(not in the good way), over 2 chords, like emo and stuff. However, when you hear a band like Laruku, you go out of your mind. I mean, some modern stuff is good, like a perfect circles not that bad, same with the strokes. But back to l'arc. When you hear l'arc, your mind goes crazy. Hydes beautiful, flowing lyrics, combined with tetsus great bass( not one note like other bands today) kens intricate guitar lines and solos, and yukihiros explosive drumming. it just makes it so much nicer to hear. well thats my opinion lol. thanks for reading XD

Well, it kinda makes me wondering cause I feel exactly the same way about them too. Since I knew some of them from watching anime/ manga, I found that these guys have communicated a distinctive flavor of music that no western band had ever attempted. Maybe so, but again that's just my opinion. The first time I watched Samurai X, TM Revolution's Heart of Sword was literally brought me to an awe. The sounds, the energy it conveyed, and so much more. Laruku got me even worse, since I stopped listening to ANYTHING and abandoned hundreds of my MP3 collections the next minute after getting my first laruku album, and not to mention hours spent in front of PC hunting down their PVs, news, live performances (mostly in this forum hehehe) like some of you guys. Bonk and all this happened to me in less than 3 months!! Talking bout changing personal preference, that's all it takes for them to entirely "convert" me.
Phewww... such a long post, sorry everyone for the long boring chatter Bonk

Thx Matsu for Words' pics!!! I was hoping you would scan and post 'em, hehe, just couldn't dare to ask.

One of my friends (that doesn't listen to laruku) told me... "they use subliminal msg". Grumble He was just kidding, though.
, great explanation, even though... I like emo, hehe; but LOVE Laruku! And feel exactly the same as you guys with 'em. Totally new for me.

Don't worry about that!!! No hard feelings at all!!! Mr Green I agree with you, some emo groups have music 2 light, poor basses and all that (specially poor basses). Nothing like Tetsu's sick bass!!!

Oh em gee haven`t posted in the LONGEST TIME Bang Head No time, with all this Hell-ful school.

Hyde`s new single seems interesting; the PV is a MUST to see! Anyone able to upload it in mpg form? Still haven`t heard the entire song yet... Shameful Cry

I`ve gotten most of my friends to listen to L'Arc!! THEY LOVE THEM!! "New World" is their "starting song." Sadly they only have that and "Ready Steady Go!"... need to send them more mp3s sometime soon bwahahaha w00t!

haha! I have the same opinion Mr Green
And I'm not a Blink182 fan xD
I don't like the bands like Green Day etc. because the sounds like a school band.
They have nothing special.
Laruku are pro's. They are real musicians.
But I don't have to repeat yout text 'cause had say everything!
Yes, that's the reason why I love music by L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Somtimes it's really stupid to hear music in languages which I can understand especially German.
There is a new German band calls "tokio hotel".
They are really popular but the music and text are soooooo bad...

Argh... Hyde isn't in the german album charts with 666...
But the german charts only contains shit like the stupid techno frog -_-

I think it's because Laruku put everything they have into recording a song.

Hyde gives it his all with the vocals (Neo Universe anyone?).
Testu kicks ass on his bass!! (Nuff said)
Ken shows us what he can do on his guitar, which is a heck of a lot more than any "real" guitar player out there (Blurry eyes anyone?)
And last (but no way the least), Yuki shows us how he can play really complicated drum sequences on his kits. (Spirit Dreams?)

Laruku have never sold out and made a record that their ashamed of. They write their own lyrics and music. So, if they don't like it, they go back a start again.

I love laruku because they are soo fresh, even their old stuff kicks any modern rock's ass, IMO.

I loove Japanese rock a lot better than Uk or US rock. Becuase, as said, all they do now is swear and scream. Japanese rock songs still have words in them. rofl

AND they do it because they want to, not because they have to... I.E Green Day Blink182, these two bands couldn't do normal jobs, because they're college bands. And college bands usually miss classes and not graduate, thus they waste 3-4 years of they're lives.

Plus Laruku are just soo great!! Dancing
