wow! i only didn't post last night and you guys are on page30 already! PRIDE is really a great show! im lovin' it! haa!

i have yet to see what is my most fave scene in PRIDE! so far my fave scene / episode... erm hmmm.. should be the one when Aki is comforting Halu after knowing the truth that his mom borrowed money from Aki and she's still seeing other guys and all... that was... 6th episode i guess..

But I still love his 'Maybe' punchline.

Sakaguchi Kenji is my next favourite character in the show. Grizzly Gorilla! Unfortunately Yuri's objective was ultimately a rich boyfriend, so poor Yamato had put on all sorts of acts to win her...

lol pretty surprise to see this thread grow so fast over the past weeks. next thing we might start analysing scenes by scenes. hmm seriously for me almost in almost every episode there is one or two superb scene that has never fail to make it cry with the excpetion of the breakup/jail episode, which was just painful painful

hmm hopefully mediacorp can continue to dedicate a timeslot to jap drama since personally i really much prefer them to korean or taiwan drama

anyway another fave scene of mine (actually more of fave episode:P) is the last one where the two seems to reach an understanding of each other feelings and how they went about doing the best in their respective life knowing someone is waiting for him/her. It was so touching and satisfying when we find out Aki is learning to ice-skate and then they re-unite. Lol fireworks, cheering friends, kiss, hug couldnt have abetter ending to a series

i totally agree with U on every episode having a great scene.....
Like i was rewatching Pride for the 3rd time yesterday.....
The scene where they had the tape of the interview for documentary.....,. a group of U students came asking for Satonaka.....and he raised his hand....and was slapped.... .....and the gal said "worst"....
and of Yamoto being the friend as he is said "U mean best"....and Halu said "Maybe"....
i like it Face-Off when Aki came and all those reaction from her and him when they were talking to the group of U gals......
..it was hilarious how all the teammates abandoned Halu when the Yuri, Chika n Aki came.....
And of course i love how Aki defended Halu.....
"Although he may look rough on the outside....but there is substance inside him" i will say the same

agree! lolx but actually, mediacorp shows alot taiwanese shows.. hopefully they show more japanese drama series in the future! then all of us will be very very happy! hee!

Jian.....i am more than 100% in agreement with U!!
i want more Japanese drama.....esp of TK!!!!
At least i think that Japanese drama is fast pace.....though a little short....but i suppose they dun deliberately create story that are unnecessary.
i think what i enjoyed thus far of Pride are those dialogue that are sooo meaningful for the plot!!

i think so too! we will reallie be so happy if they set a time slot just for japanese dramas.. but now it seems to be 7.30 - 8.30 every mon and tues for japanese and korean dramas. but not purely j-dramas.

all the scenes in PRiDE are my fav scenes!! i thought that part when aki decided to follow halu to find those gangster students was so sweet. it gave us a whole new impression of aki. i was truly impressed that she was brave enough to stand up against those peeps.

and also that part on the bridge when they first made the pact. halu bent forward to kiss her but aki turned away.. then he kissed her eye. that was quite nice.. how i wish that was me..

yes!! their dialogues are so meaningful. they think so deep into things that sometimes i cant help thinking whether someone will reallie think that way in real life?

Halu....was saying she should stay at home...
AKi said .... i am not a housewife...
Then i think at one part all 3 of them said the same phrase...i forgot the line....and then Halu said...oh nobody else to ask...

i enjoy seeing Halu alittle jealous when Aki also shouldered Tomo ....
He said it is not necessary that Aki should it it....

haha. high five *piax* i liked how halu and aki kept trying to pretend that they dont like each other. but in fact they are both seriously in love. they are just so cute together. i love that episode when halu was celebrating his birthday and aki gave him a lamp and accidentally blurted out that halu's hse was dark.. they seem to have some kind of telepathy with each other. esp that time when halu went over to aki's hse while aki went over to his. it was sooo SAD that they justs brushed past each other!

The BD part.... i think Aki blurt out that she had been to Halu's house which was not supposed to let the gang know.
i supposed everyone knows that Halu who play games ....DO NOT TAKE GIRLS HOME!!! hahaha
So they had to come out with soooo many excuses ......and of course...the people get bored with it and do their own thing!!

haha. yupp. but i found that very farnie.. the expressions on their face when they were trying to make all sorts of excuses just made me laugh harder.

i just cant wait to finish watching PRiDE. it is such a good show! i agree that it is not like korean shows that are so draggy and you get irritated if the show drags on too long. but that also means all his dramas are so short.

O well. Did anyone see the advertisement on Channel U which shows the upcoming Japanese dramas they are gonna show!? There's lots, like Trick 3, Last Christmas and White Tower, but it's only a matter of time before they are going to be shown on TV (which I expect to be in a long time) Hehex. I am starting to becoming a fan of Japanese dramas, with much thanks to Channel U and Takuya~ ^^ They both rock!! I hope that they have another time slot for Japanese dramas besides the current mon-tues 7.30-8.30pm slot. Perhaps like on Weekends. The Korean dramas have 3 time slots as far as I know~ (Not that I mind anyway. I am a fan of Kdramas. )

i can't say much about J-Drama......
'cos Pride is the 1st ever that i watched on VCD.
The other time when J-Wave was on..... i might have watch on TV.....
but may not have been chasing it the way i am doing now!!

But i must say......Pride n TK does it for me too....with all those wonderful expressions...... those eyes of his and that smile and 2 front teeth!!
