Taken from the recent entry of MixxDreamer's webbie, merely pasting the same thing down here:
Its been announced that the anime based in shoujo manga Honey & Clover will turn into a LIVE ACTION MOVIE yay! Sakurai Sho (23), member of the popular Jpop music group ARASHI, will play the lead male role as Takemoto Yuuta. Aoi Yuu (20), Iseya Yusuke (29) Kase Ryo (30), and Seki Megumi (19) will join Sakurai as the five main characters. this movie will be scheduled next summer of 2006.

I know ur not against them and I didn't mean to sound like I'm attacking you (call it a healthy debate, hehe).
I think they will still need the group. In the future, they probably will do what SMAP and other sempai have done and do more solo projects. However, I think they will always be Arashi, just like how Kimutaku and Nakai and the rest of them will always be SMAP. It's what established them and it's a part of their public identity. Even if SMAP members are more successful in other areas of the entertainment business, they still continue to put out songs because it's what defined them in the first place.
I think the Arashi guys will do great on solo projects. Jun and Nino in more dramas, Aiba in more variety shows, and...I dunno what Sho and Ohno would do, lol. Maybe release solos? But even still, no matter how many independent projects they do, I'd still like to see them come together to do something. Especially since their closeness to one another is what attracted many of us to Arashi.

Oh and I was watching an old episode of Shounen Club (2003.07.13) and there was an "interview" of Arashi (you know the part called "Touma Scoop" or something like that). There were 2 parts but unfortunately I was able to cut correctly only the 1st part of the interview because the 2nd part had a problem : the sound and the video were not synchronized (I don't know if I'm understandable). It's really sad because in that part, the boys answered letters from the Juniors and it seemed interesting.
If someone want them (even the 2nd part), just ask me.

wouldn't it be great if arashi continued their careers for a long time, like smap? think of all they've done in 6 years and all they could still go on to do
i for one hope they'll be around for a long time the longer they're around the higher my chances of getting to their concert someday!

I agree! It'll take me forever and a day to save up enough money to go to Japan. So they better still be around by then.
If only I had time to go too! I get no break between work and school. Summer vacation does not exist for me.
But hopefully I can get to go while I'm still young and they are still young, so that I can continue fantasizing about stealing them away and ravishing them. When they get older and married, fantasizing about sweeping them off their feet just doesn't feel the same anymore, LOL.

hi minna!!! ive been sooooo busy but i had to come and check what was up with this thread... ive missed it
yamete_evie- OMG arigatou! for propose subs!! i watched the whole thing thru without subs and some parts i was like huh?! what? how?! thanks for all ur hard work
and i love ur room... i arashi-fied my room too, sort of. of course there's more coming... ^_^ when i have more time to decorate!!
(hehe it actually doesnt look so great because i cut off the other side, which is sort of symmetrical but not arashi... ><)
violomana- ah! yes! i actually sang along to the karaoke track and could do the rap!! but for other songs, omg, i really do get lost without sho's help... hehe and im sure my pronounciation is horrid, considering that the rap that i can sing isn't exaaaaaactly the same as what's written in the lyrics... mwahahahaha. ^_^ but its what it sounds like to me... hehe. ganbatte in rapping too!

Minna! I'm so happy, today I got How's It Going? Summer concert DVD, Iza Now concert DVD, and Iza Now CD that I ordered from yesasia! My first official/authentic Arashi products! I've only watched How's it Going so far, and I loooooved it! It was even better than I expected (I think I actually teared up a little 'cause it was so wonderful. lol ) And can I just say that I absolutely loved those colorful 70's outfits with the afros!? They are soooo cute! I was laughing my head off the entire time!
Anyways I guess there was no real point to this post, I just wanted to share my ureshii-ness with everyone hehe. ^__^
