Getting ready to go to Monterey to do a 15-mile bike ride with some co-workers. At one point we'll be in Pebble Beach...

I will. We did a SF->Golden Gate Br->Tiburon ride last year and it was awesome. And the weather is supposed to cooperate, so they'll be nice views of the Pacific Ocean.

It's not bad on a bike. Although I do have one co-worker who will be running it. But he does 100 super marathons, so 15 miles is just warmup. Sweat <-Nooooo way would/could I do that. Shocked

You should try riding your bike 50 miles dochira. My dad did that a few times. Almost got heat stroke once.

Well...I have forced day off today because of budget cuts at the store, so I guess I'll just relax until class tonight. I'm not sure whether to be happy or outraged. I'm not getting paid for it. I wonder if it'll be permanent?

I know what you mean. I had a hard time staying up yesterday. Eyes got all heavy and the struggle to keep them open was going on for around an hour or so.

Aaah niko so rewarding, yet so sad. Shameful Cry To know that you brought a spark of joy into young lives before the lovely flame of their short lived youth flickered away. Hug

Just got back from the ride. It was amazing. I'm not a golfer, but I would want to play a few holes at Spyglass or Pebble Beach.

lucky you guys can access jdorama from work, can't really do that, especially as a temp.
you guys are sure lucky to get off earlier, getting off at 5 has real disadvantages, besides being later in the day, the traffic Beaten takes me 25 min to get to work, and 40 min to get home, gotta find a way to cut the commute going home somehow....even 5 min less will help.
