so he asked who was it from but the girl said the it have no special meaning...

Yes, it's right! NEWS is a group with Yamapi as a "main vocal" (i think that's why Yamapi have a lot of solos"... but Koyama is the oldest... then, he's the sempai... and Yampi respects him... I think is this...
