I didn't realize that nagasawa minimi that played Aki in Sekachu movie is also the same person in Dragonzakura as Mizuno Naomi. She looks prettier in dragonzakura though with the sohrt hair, imo...
Speaking of which, her photo in jdorama database is not flatterig at all...
She looks old in the database... someone should change her pic to something a little more cute...

hi
i have just finished watching this drama..
the last few scenes..there is a part when a little girl called 'Aki' ran out, and her mum said she forgot her lunchbox, then the camera zoomed in to show the family members of the household. if i am not wrong, Aki's two friends got married right ?? And they named their child as Aki...
and the very last scene where two lead actors/actress(their teenage years) hold hands and walked towards sunset, i reckon it is just a dream ??

I heard somewhere that the original novel had been translated into English recently. Can anyone confirm this? Amazon has no English hits for Sekai no Chushin, and I can't find any info on it.
The manga looks interesting, but it's by Viz. :/
EDIT: Ahaha, I found it on Viz site, on the bar on the right. I'm so dumb. Socrates in Love.

After buying the DVD of the movie I just had to get the series too. I really enjoyed both the movie and the drama. Really touching and the cast is great too.
Now I understand why so many make a big fuzz about it and wanted me to watch it

i haven't seen the movie yet, but yeah, the drama series was extremely good. I am sure the movie will be good too. I enjoyed the acting, the storyline, although extremely sad, and the music, fantastic.
