my fave would be the "Only Woman under 60kg" said by Aki at the finale episode when she completed Halu's sentence. Shows how comfortable they are each other. perfect moments=)

hey... wow!!! i was so glad that so many Pride's fans in Singapore were writing in this thread... I never thought that there were so manys people in Singapore liked this dorama ever since I started this thread last year when I was watching Pride... and I totally enjoyed watching it again and again haha!!!

hmm.... "Maybe" was the golden quote throughout the show...
"Must be" at the finale episode.... that was so awesome......

i like a few scenes though.. thinking of quotes is difficult.... my memory fails..
there's this scene where aki said there's no one who could match halu becos he has never love before.... and then aki's door closed on halu.. the heartache was undescribable.. i mean for halu and aki.... of cos, a bit for me too...
there's one more,, in the first episode or so, where they made the pact and introduce themselves to each other formally. "i'm aki and you are halu; anyway it got to do with seasons'. something like that...
one more one more..... when halu was practising in the ice-rink after he had seen aki's wound (indirectly caused by her bf). he was fuming mad...

thank you yanjun and shirllx for the soundtracks!!! i simply just fell in love with the songs.. reminded me so much of pride.. i almost cried when i heard Bohemian Rhapsody.. but obviously only that "mama.. ooh" part.. the rest sound so cute and hilarious. =)

must thank the scriptwriter for making halu such a lovable character, though there are some scenes when you simply feel so sorry for aki for being wronged by halu (when his mum came into the picture)

oh btw, there's this scene in the last episode which i dun quite understand... did halu take down the light bulb in the lamp when he left for canada? and was the coach's assistant together with makoto (how come they were together at the fireworks scene)?

^hhaa np..at least im being useful for once lol..yessss...haru is really such a cute character..hmm and yeah he took the ligh bulb with him..and i dont think his assistant is with makoto..haha..

and i like the character sena too..kind of foolish person..hmm..i don't know..yeah, quite foolish..haahaha..but really sweet sometimes..i rmb the parts when he played the birthday song for minami..minami is also a very interesting character hahah..

The bulb with the lamp in which Aki presented to Halu on his birthday .....well....she wrote there "I Love U! MAYBE!"....

Since Halu is in love with Aki.....he took not just that pic of Aki which he used to say "funny face" but also the bulb......
he din not discovered that the bulb has those words written.....
Maybe that was why he was agressive in detaining her....
i remembered the scene when he saw what was written on the bulb....
he was regretful....and angry with himself for not discovering it earlier!

thanks grapefruit for the explanation. yeah i do remember the anguish of halu after seeing aki's message on the bulb.. kinda poor thing.

awww. it is so sad cos when halu went for canada, the only things that remind him of aki were his birthday prezzies! the lamp (bulb) and the photo.

hahaha actually i thought pride was really good in the sense that even the supporting roles sum up the entire drama well. like hirokazu. hahaha. xD really hope there are more japanese dramas like pride...

^ yup yup agree!

Pride just has INTENSE written all over it....in teamwork, love, loyalty to teachers/lovers etc... it touched on many themes and thanks to the strong supporting cast, the whole drama takes on multidimensions and did not just focus on a romance between the two leads... which is very strong in itself by the way and should be good enough to carry the drama through...
definitely crossing my fingers for more such breakthrough dramas with a great cast and great dialogues. oh and gotta give props to the chemistry between Halu and Aki!! Pride win win win!!!
