yupe so far her image in pride is the prettiest in all her show i think. And yes that guy is Tsumabuki Satoshi, he was in the first waterboys movies and recently in slow dance.
Satoshi and Yuko-chan has acted together previously on Lunch Queen so this is their second time acting together. The show Haru no Yuki can be summarised about 2 star-crossed lovers in which Yuko-chan's character while waiting for Satoshi to declare his feeling for her was bethrothed to someone else. And thus starts a tragic and illicit love affair between them. Will try to find more accurate info on the show and post here. _________________

That was what I thought too when I saw the trailer. Seems that he's a low ranking petty corporal or something. She was betrothed to some high ranking official...
Anyways, I think she adopted a longer hairstyle for Heaven's Bookstore, PRIDE and Ima Ai ni Yukimasu.
Which brings to remind me, when I first saw the Cathay poster of Ima Ai ni Yukimasu, she didn't like Yuko at all! Her hairstyle in the movie was totally different from what I imagined although it was long. I don't know how to explain it, but it wasn't like anything from PRIDE and Heaven's Bookstore...
I took some handphone shots of the making of 'Ima Ai ni Yukimasu' from the DVD I bought. Will post the pics up soon.
The story is set in the Taisho era where the lead characters Kiyo (Tsumabuki) and Satoko (Takeuchi) have been childhood friends and like each other. However, they have never told each other about this. At this time, Satoko's family receives a proposal from an official's family and she agrees to the match after failing to find out how Kiyo feels towards her. When Kiyo realises that Satoko cannot be his wife, he finally sees how much he loves her and decides to tell her about it. Unfortunately, it is too late for them as Satoko cannot reject the marriage arrangement and the lovers have to meet secretly. When their relationship is exposed, Satoko has to proceed with her marriage while Kiyo tries to meet her again...

Hehehe! She looks just so funny in Grumpy Gene! Especially when her ex-professor boyfriend teased her about her nickname 'Gene-ko' at the Nagasaki Dam... she slapped him and retorted his every statement. That made me laugh really hard! Or the scene where she when on and on about insects and their habits compared against humans... mainly errr... her attack on guys' dominating behaviour.
Anyways I'd upload the pictorials for those who might not be able to find it soon. The other pictures I'd post slowly... ^^"
