I know this is late but when I was catching up (took me forever), I came across the question of whether the bigging part of the NANDE 2x DAME was Masuda. This part:

And someone said it was either Uchi or Masuda. That was definently Masuda. I can always tell his voice. Uchi's voice is higher, anyways.
Can someone tell me some songs where I can here Koyama's and Shige's voices? I have heard Kusano's voice. And to be truthful it isnt'that wonderful.... (Don't hurt me!! ) It's not that I don't love him (he and Yuya are my favs) it just you know... So I can tell Yuya (Best Voice to me. Only one with a completely musical voice.{My band teacher always says that music can be played but isn't always musical ), Masuda (Deep, a little nasal..and I love it), YamaP(emphasizes his a's and some other vowels... a's always sound like ah, soooo sexy), Ryo (he's sorta whiny. No Offense!!!), and Uchi (the highest voice). I just need help with Koyama, Kusa, and Shige.
Has anyone else noticed that Uchi's talking voice is sexy deep, but his singing voice is very high.... Sorry I'm babbling. Please help!!!!
(Is that really Koyama after Masuda at the beginning? If so I looove his voice. I thought it might be Shige, but... obviously I was wrong. I think that I can tell Shige singing though. Doesn't his singing voice sound just like his talking voice? Like I can tell when it's him rapping in NANDE 2x DAME but that's closer to talking....)

Listen to High TEN. KKKitty sings a lot in that. And in the rapping part in Party Time, I'm pretty sure that's Shige. And in Nandex2 Dame, too! (I could be wrong; It just sounds like Shige to me).

I personally love Kusano's singing. He sings really well. I think he, Tegoshi, and Massu are the best singers in NEWS (not that any of them CANT sing. I just think theirs is the best).

Kusano sings the entire second verse of Koi Yake :3 Koyama and Shige both have solo lines in Yume no Kazu Dake ai ga Umareru, and I can tell you where they are if you want.
You're right, Yuya sounds like the one who's had actual voice training - you can tell from his use of vibrato, and he's got a huge range. The others are more raw talent, but in a way, I find an untrained voice just as nice, because it sounds so good without any lessons.

I agree I reckon Kusano, Tego and Massu are the best singers in NEWS. Kusano in particular, because he has a lot of flair. He has that really, really strong voice that rings out when he sings - he really puts his heart and soul into it

Kusano has a very unique voice, too. Yeah, you're right, he really does put his heart and soul into it. Especially when he sings live. You can tell he's putting his all into it.

yeaaah!! i love their voices! i think all of the NEWS guys are good. i think tegoshi is the best singer though.. like he sings sooo well it gives me chills lol. but they're all good! i think ryo's voice is kinda sexy though lol (esp in koi yake) but so is kusano.. b/c i love everything about kusano!

Exactly That's where Tegoshi and Kusano differ, I think. Tegoshi has brilliant voice control - another benefit of singing lessons - whereas Kusano puts his soul into his singing and just goes all out, and it has a really powerful effect. They both have great voices, just very different styles.
When I heard Koi Yake, I wondered to myself what Ryo is doing in Jpop He'd do really well in Jrock as well, I think.

DEFINITELY! Kusano is the best dancer in NEWS! He has a lot of rhythem! I mean, to be honest, not everyone in NEWS has that natural rhythem. But Kusano definitely has it! He doesn't try to hard with the dances; He just moves along with the music. Gosh, he's so hot when he dances! Especially in the Cherish PV! OMG.. so effing sekushi! YES! If anyone ever has doubts about Kusano's singing, they cannot possibly doubt his DANCING He is definitely the best dancer in NEWS. He moves so naturally along to the music that he flows

omg i know!!! in the Cherish PV when he's dancing w/ yamaP.. he does have a lot of rhythem.. b/c when he dances he's like feeling the music (lol) if you know what i mean. and i also think it's super cool how he can do all those flips and stuff! like at the end of summary! he's so HOTT! i could go on forever about him too! lol

Yeah, exactly. There is no doubt about it that Kusano is the best dancer. I love the way how he doesn't concentrate on trying to look good. If you look at his face while he dances, you can tell that he's really into it. He's focused on the music and he's just moving along with it. Like you said.. he flows.

Yeah! I love how Kusano does all those flips and stuff! I mean, practically every JE boy can do flips and whatnot but Kusano really uses it for his advantage. There are some people who are only good at dancing if they are choreographed. With Kusano, he's the type that can dance free style. He doesn't need to be taught; He's got his own rhythem.

Koyama dances good, too (not as good as Kusano but.. lol)! I love Koyama's dancing. Good thing he can dance good because skinny guys don't look right if they can't dance.

He'd do really well in Jrock as well, I think.
