hi sashimi....did u read the manga for NANA? I actually have no idea what it really is about, but I really like Mika Nakashima in that movie..her punk rock outfit and short hair really suits her..and Nari is in it....
Hope ur tv gets fixed soon....what a bad timing for it to spoil Sweat
Just watched a movie called About Love...hmm..not really a japanese movie but it features Takashi Tsukamoto and Itoh Misaki...it's a really sweet movie..It's three stories about 3 cross-cultural relationships... watch it if u guys have the chance k?

hi ashley! Sadly no, I haven't had a chance to read the NANA manga. But I do see the photo-book being sold in kino last month. Mika Nakashima looks and sounds great since she changed to the j-rock style.

Let's hope Cine will bring in more Japanese movies. Now korean movies are the craze. I think there should be a balance between the 2 of them!

Yeah. I'm looking forward to the next set of Japanese movies that Cathay would bring in... been skipping Hollywood productions as well.

Anyone watched Hinokio before? That Japanese robot movie...

oO...okay. I know there are movie and music stores there. But I haven't been there for almost 6 months?!

Btw, I heard that Ch U is gonna be showing anime like Saiyuki Reload on Sunday evenings! 3 animes starting from 4pm-5.30pm. 1/2 hour each. Do check them out if you are an anime fan.

Yup you are right yanjun. Gomane~ I checked the papers today and they said that DNAngel be showing at 4pm. Saiyuki Reload will be at 4.30pm. As for 5pm onwards, there's this new drama. Not sure if it is Japanese though.

Hello~

Yeah, I saw Moon Child there last time... Around in mid-July... I'm sure they'll still have it? Can't possible that they have none... But when I'm watching MoonChild on Friday, it's sort of boring to me!! Not attracted to it, at all! Hmm... Perhaps maybe the story is not interesting for me... Also, don't understand the story coz I switched off the television after watching just awhile, hahaha hehe

I watched Last Quarter again on SCV this afternoon... It's still the best movie to me w00t! ... this is the 4th time I'm watching it

This thread seem to be collecting dust. Sweat There are no new drama or movies on tv lately right? Oh well, I can't watch them either. Sweat I wonder if sg does sell those jp dramas with eng subs instead of chi subs. But rare ain't it? Or not? Beaten

Don't think so. Majority of the Jdramas are brought in from Taiwan. Hence the 'Fan Ti' chinese subs.

LoL~ Would you believe it. I managed to find my 'Terms For A Witch' VCD that I long thought I had lost. Hahaha... Nanako-fandom all over again. ^^"
