Naw it just more good acting on Jun's part. After all Domyouji is suppose to be more *ahem* innocent compare to the other.
Of course its hard to stimulate red ears but maybe they just pinched it for the red look.
And surely Jun has had lots of experince in kissing co-star.. just watch KWP for one example

but those women are like 10 yrs or more older than him... this girl is like a few yrs younger than him...
anyway, just thought it kawaii, even if he did pinch his ears, it's still a kawaii detail des...
(i really doubt it's intentional, coz i've never seen any drama where the guy truely goes red, they just have this look when acting embarrassed...)

I don't think that he pinched his ears JUST for this scene! I mean, i don't think that he or the film crew pays attention to SUCH a detail since they just had about a month for shooting these eps! (although we all know that Jun is a lil perfectionist ^^) I guess he must be really kinda embarrassed to kiss her naughty boy, he is! makes him even cuter~
who am I to talk anyways, I haven't watched th ep yet! I'm patiently waiting for the subs ... this is real dedictaion of a Jun fan .. i have it on my com for 2 days now, but could resist the temptaion to watch the whole episode (I've just seen the first 5-10min ^^)

I'm a FULL SUPPORTER for this drama!!! Go, Hanadan, go!!!!^O^ I love it very much, much, much!! is the 2nd ep ratings out yet? I soooooo want to know did it increase or not....I really hope it can beat Kiken na Aneki and Jukunen Rikon ratings!!^o^
I'll just quote what my friend said abt Hanadan drama series and I totally agree with her: Every realistic and logistic person will see the BIG DIFFERENCE between Hanadan and MG(taiwanese)...and of course Hanadan wins by a mile!
And my friend, is someone who has finished watching MG1^^
To be frank, I used to dislike MatsuJun. Then, after Gokusen, MatsuJun became ma-maa to me^^ Now watching Hanadan....yabeeee....! Help! I do not want to be drag into the MatsuJun's harem....which in actual fact, I think I'm already on my way there! iyaaa...... xD
For those who have read the manga, I have a question. When did Tsukushi feels, realized and confessed that she actually love Tsukasa with all her heart and cannot live without him? In which volume did this happen? I'm up to #20 now...and I'm getting tired waiting...when will Tsukushi realized, that she is the luckiest girl?? This ungrateful girl _________________

yanie_chan I read the manga last year...Its so long that i cant rmb...I think its was more of a gradual thing...She was in denial for some time...aswell...

I believe she finally says it around 25/26, I just got there last night to tell you the truth and i was SO relieved. Don't skip everything just to get to that part cuz a lot of stuff happens. God I LOVE this manga! I cannot wait til they start to show Domyoji's goofy side, cuz i totally think Jun will be able to pull that off well. And I really hope they work in the squid fishing, cuz that was just funny. Although i don't know if they can since there's no kazuya yet.

HYD episode 1 rocked! It definately fared better than the Taiwanese version Meteor Garden. I am currently still dling episode 2 and can't wait for episode 2's english subs to come out!
Shun looks great acting Rei's character and what can I say, Jun was so kakkoii! Inoue does a wonderful job in bringing out the essence of her character as well. _________________

Hahaha, it's not just me who finds that bizarre. Lol, like he's always there! But Jun is sooooooooooooo hottt! So I don't mind seeing his face more. And Shun does look good. Before I doubted whether he is pretty enough to be Rui. But now I have no doubt.

I already watched the first episode twice. =D
It was truly great. It was better than I expected to be (but except Hanazawa Rui, the F4 are more laughable than anything else, especially that Sojiro guy... His face looks pitiful).
The acting was wonderful but I was kind of disappointed that the first episode didn't last a whole hour.
The story seems to be very interesting. I already like Tsukushi-san. ; )

Hi! I've just watched the 2nd ep (Thank god for the Megaupload link ) -- and i was definitely blown away!
This was the first episode off the series that I was able to watch.. and now I'm longing to watch the 1st episode more than ever!
Hehe.. i thought it was just me but the music sounded an awful lot like Harry Potter indeed! It weirded me out at first.
Hmm.. episode 2. Lots of fave scenes.. the 'wiping' scene and the 'pool' scene (and the rest after that..hehe). So far.. 2 thumbs up. And I am actually liking Doumyuji's character here... all to MatsuJun's credit. Bcuz on the Tw version.. nevermind.
