I'm doing other things while the drama is playing
I think its ok. Matsu Takako is good in this drama in my opinion and KimuTaku.....I like him in this one more then in Pride
I didn't like his character in Pride.....kinda overconfident and cocky
What I like about this drama is the cases they try to solve. I just want to watch it again to see how they came to those conclusions....I find it kinda fun to see if you could've figure those things out _________________

fbi special agent from the television show the x-files....because you know kimura takuya's character worked at the prosecutor's office...and he was always tryin' to solve these crazy cases through hero....hell somebody would have been my hero if they came in and shot the cast and ended the show after two episodes.

we discussed this already i believe....i mentioned to you previously that i think kimura character was miscast in my opinion.....
in any event i preferred kimura takuya in pride unlike yourself...but i appreciated the fact that he played a cocky son of a bitch...because it was a departure from alot of his other roles...the guy showed he was tryin' to broaden his skills...i guess you can make that argument for hero too because his character was supposed to be goofy....but i think he pulled it off better in pride....
dude you wanna see kimura takuya in a light/role REALLY unlike most of his roles watch MILLION STARS FALLING FROM THE SKY.....now that was a serious departure for him....he was straight up devious in that one...great to see him "flip the script"
for me, "hero" was the worst drama i've seen.....i don't get a "hard on" and automatically LOVE a show just because my favorite actors/actreses are in it.

Hmmm. Pretty harsh re: "Hero". Especially since I rather enjoyed it.
I guess I'll have to watch it again to find all that badness. _________________ Manga is to Literature

I liked what Kimura did with the role of the prosecutor, and I enjoyed the interaction between Kimura and Matsu.
But from the moment you metnioned it, I started thinking about how much fun the show would have been if Eri had played the under educated, shopping chanell obsessed Prosecutor, playing against the wound too tight Matsu.
That would have been fun.
And putting Eri in there would have given Abe someone to play against.
You know really, they oughtta check with us before they put this stuff on the air. _________________ Manga is to Literature

I certainly agree...Eri Fukatsu's ability to play those decidedly unconventional roles is part and parcel of her unique talents. Given the almost hyperbolic nature of the Prosecutor played by Kimura Takuya, you frame your argument well and I can totally "see" what you're saying. Although I didn't much care for the show I do respect other people's enjoyment of the show. I do appreciate I am in the minority here....ppl LOVE HERO. I dunno maybe I am sucker for a little romance...and there wasn't much in that show vis-a-vis most dramas.
As for Eri Fukatsu, she also has a presence that lends itself to adding a sense of realism to the roles she plays...especially when she seems to be playing an "ordinary" working class type of character.
