it's funny but true...when i was in japan i swear i was the only one i ever saw wearing shorts outdoors while travelling around the city....it was funny there was one instance that i was with a friend on the yamanote line and there were these foreigners and we were in the same car and we immediately knew we were all americans just by our clothes...so we started chatting....we were all from los angeles...hehe

Why do the japanese wear pants on such warm/hot days in the city? I mean it was so humid. Sometimes i wore shorts, and other times i would wear my pants, but i didn't see many people if any, wear any shorts, what's up with that?! Bonk

if i got that close i might get the urge to steal it.....haha..just kidding.

i honestly didn't but not that i doubt you...but i will say that almost every friekin' girl i saw had a Louis Vuitton bag....hell no wonder they have like around 5 LV stores in the greater Tokyo area....dayem I went to one LV store on Omotesando-dori and it was like 4 or 5 stories!!! That defies the word "boutique."

dayem but Cartier??? that's REALLY expensive EVEN more so in Japan.

the small tank models aren't too expensive especially if you go for quartz rather than an automatic. Mr Green

speaking of LV, my buddy has a few hookups in china, and he knows where to get the good fake LV's, and he brought a whole set back. My other friend's wife knows LV like the palm of her hand, and she couldn't tell the difference.
2006 collection is out, btw. Wink

i think there are more LV bags in tokyo then anywhere...if they were represented by governement they'd have more seats in the Japanese Diet than the Liberal Democratic Party.

hehe
a credible theory but i recently heard that Rap Music Mogul Russell Simmons' wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, has the largest personal collection of LV bags in the world.

edit: (btw, i don't endorse this chick...she's hella stuck on herself...i guess having a bizillion dollars does that to you....)

from new york metro

Long ago, Kimora Lee realized that if she couldnft be the most popular girl in school, it might be fun to be the girl everybody talks about. gBe happy if people are talking about you,h her father used to say. Only now shefs not so sure. The self-styled Worldfs Biggest Collector of Louis Vuitton is trying not to brag these days, but itfs hard: Therefs just so much to show off. gI am a fly bitch!h the 29-year-old says, sounding slightly exasperated.

i don't even think she's all that. i'd hit it just to say i've hit it, but there are WAY more hotties than her.

all dolled up vs. no make up:

oh i totally agree with you on that one, big dawg. she can't claim that she's got it all locked up when it comes to the looks department....she's just got the attitude and the wealth that creates this superegotistical persona. if she ever got dumped she'd probably flip out that she couldn't ride with a 5 man make up entourage in the platinum bentley.

the sh*t that trips me out is when she got arrested for DUI and drug possession nobody made that big of a stink about it....but when kate moss got busted the media was all over that story like white on rice.....
