Don't have to worry about that there. As mean as we are to one another, its all in playful manner. My friends and I know when were upset or angry and when were just joking around

Sae did have a temper problem, but she got kinder

i thought that was done purposefully as part of the character development....she felt injured emotionally because of her hearing loss and she finally found somebody in Kai that actually appreciated and loved her as a person, not out of pity. somebody who tried to understand the world through her "camera lens."

This makes sense to me. I could understand what you mean
   I personally liked Sae's personality.

Me too...I thought it was "real." Yeah she could act like a beeyotch but you understood where it came from...we see the fiercely independent, young musical prodigy produce quick tempers as a consequence of her perceived loss of talent and ability. She enters a "silent" world where she feels shes fending for herself until she finds an ally that can hear the music in her heart.

I found her too much complicated... If I'd be Kai Yuuki, I'd probably not going through all this trouble, just for a woman.

But Kitagawa has so much improved her skills since Beautiful Life...

Just finished watching Orange Days in 1 day after reading the raving reviews about if.. Glad I didn't miss out on this show Loved the relationship between Kai and Sae... My mother actually said Sae's dressing's kawai and I agree... Kai looks really cool and charming their relatipnship is pretty realistic, how they overcome their insecurities and fears in developing their love further when one is deaf, the other is normal... They're lucky to have friends who stood by them, support them, be their matchmakers..else the story will just be too draggy.. yeah, and they're straightforward in love confessions (esp in rejections), which is good and so the other party can move on before harbouring more hopes.

*spoiler (ending) ahead*
best part, the ending is great! not longwinded and not left hanging in the air... at least we know what happens to each of them after graduation and best of all, Sae stayed in Tokyo for Kai and they're together!! Fantastic and touching!
Thumbs up, or rather hands up for this show.

ya, Its Shanghai Honey but not too sure who sang that song.. its very cute.. I agree... But my favourite song is Sign by Mr Children.. I'm repeating this song on my mp3 everyday when I'm off to work... there's a kick to it and reminds me every moment of the start of the show from the orange in the air to both Kai and Sae apologising and making up with the rest of the group...

Same here, loved Kai and Sae v much in this show... spurs me on to look for their other shows... actually I have known Kou from two other shows-Good Luck and Renai Hensachi. But this is my first time seeing Satoshi and he acts really well here... indeed mesmerising and expressive eyes, both of them.. lasting impressions.

Overall the story touches me... and I envy their university days and friendships/bonds... which makes me sigh as I did not have such experience in my u days... besides the relationship between the couple and friends, it also teaches that we should not give up our dreams so easily... which I guess its too late for me now.

Overall... this show is highly recommended, I say!! Sugoii! | |

That would depend on your ideas of "likeness". Are you referring to the cast, or a story with a college background, or a story where sign language is used...
