Aloha! Are there any *~*~*Kiyoshi Hikawa*~*~* fans out there? Or am I the only one...??? He was in Hawaii a few months ago and I got to see his concert. It was so awesome! I love his music very much! I'm hoping to see one of his Japan concerts next time.

Clarissa Thanx!

Thanks everyone for your response. Maybe I am one of the few fans of Kiyoshi Hikawa here. Wink I heard he was in Singapore last week. Actually, I think they will show the "NHK Nidojiman" on TV tomorrow. I look forward to seeing it.

Aloha!

Clarissa Thanx!

The JK influence in Hawaii is quite impressive.
I rarely heard about Kiyoshi fans though, I only know a few... prolly lesser than 5 people. Pathetic!! He deserves more Smile

Actually, I'm surprised too that Kiyoshi doesn't have a bigger fan base outside of Japan. Within Japan though, I think it's a different story. Everyone that I know from Japan say's that he's very popular there. I heard he sells out his concerts too...which is really great for him. Cool!

Aloha,

Clarissa Thanx!

i think it's because he sings enka... which is not as popular as pop or rock... akiko wada is another example.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm if this is true...

Is Kiyoshi Hikawa really married with three kids? He's so young...I would believe one kid but three...???

Just wondering...

Clarissa Thanx!

Actually the more I think about it, it does sound pretty ridiculous. I think it's not true too.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Why is Kiyoshi named "Hikawa Kiyoshi" by TAKESHI (BEAT) KITANO???? Is Kitano his senpai or goddaddy or sth like that? Why doesn't he use his real name?

I can't confirm this but I've heard that he was named *Hikawa*...the name of a shrine located near his record company...*Hikawa Jinja*.

Let me know what do you think about Hikawa Kiyoshi. I like his songs, even though being so traditional, and his outfit, but I think he is not very popular in Singapore... Sweat

Are you kidding me????? My automobile is the OFFICIAL Hikawa Kiyoshi karaoke machine LOL!!!! However, I have trouble doing that arm movement when I sing the "Zoon-zoon"... My arm keeps slamming into the stearing wheel.

Found my concert ticket!!!!!

Try not to buy from TicketMaster... Charged $8.30 just for the service fee. Sad The kiss mark on the right end was the check-in stamp, not me! LOL!
