normally, I watch as much as i can, but if I know the/hear the serie is good, I tend to stretch it out, so i don't finish it in one day.
If I got more then one serie completely downloaded, I'd watch a couple of Eps from each of them
ah i think that that seems typical behavior for most. as i mentioned i rarely watch more than one drama at a time.....sometimes i'll watch one quickly if i really like it but if it's just ok or slightly above average i can watch several episodes in short order then spent weeks before i actually finish the entire series.
Recently finished Koi ni Ochitara (When I Fall in Love). I was disappointed in this series, considering the talent that was in it--Shinichi Tsutsumi, Emi Wakui, Yoshino Kimura, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi. It wasn't a bad drama; there was just nothing compelling or memorable about it. I guess my expectations were too high. I thought one unintentionally funny scene was when Kimura's character couldn't communicate with an English-speaking caller on the phone. In real life, Yoshino Kimura is fluent in English, so I thought it was humorous seeing her act like she didn't understand the caller from America. She does slip up in another scene though, when she says "thank you" in perfect unaccented English. Usually when Japanese say "thank you" in English, it sounds like "zank kyu."

There's been some discussion as to how the title, "Moto Kare", should really be translated. Is it "My Ex"? "My Boyfriend?"
Well, in an effort to clear things up, I grabbed my dictionary and looked up:
insipid: lacking taste or savor: TASTELESS 2: lacking in qualities that interest, stimulate, or challenge: DULL FLAT
syn VAPID, FLAT, JEJUNE BANAL INANE
Yup. There's the proper translation. Especailly the second definition. Lacking in qualities that interest.
Plot: Two very popular starlets fall madly, deeply, passionately, embarassingly in love with... a lump. The lump, of course, has trouble figuring out which of the girls he'll pick. He is, after all, a lump. And lumps aren't known for their decisivness.
In a sub plot, the lump's best friend, a somewhat larger, but doughier lump, is having his problems fending off the advances of a semi lumpy actress.

Geez, I take it that this drama won't make it onto your profile list of dramas....

Kikenna Aneki : I really like this drama alot.. good light comedy, and well itoh misaki is just too damn hot... and especially as a hostess
Nobuta wo produce : Very good drama, cool story.. very easy to get hooked into.
Ichi Ritoru no Namida : Good but... the sadness.... gonna take a while to recover from this.. same as sekai no chuusin wa sakebu did to me....
out of all 3 i recommend, kikenna aneki or nobuta wo produce if u want soemthing younger, and well if u wanna be miserable and feel like crap becuase u realize how stupid and meaningless all of our small problemsm are... watch Ichi Ritoru no Namida
