Have you tried running stuff like Spybot Search & Destroy and Microsoft Antispyware?
Also, you can try this. (if you're on XP)
1. Click Start button, then run.
2. In the edit box, type cmd.
3. In the black console box, type: nslookup google.com
4. You can also try: ping google.com
# If nothing goes through, you may have a hardware problem (bad cable or bad network card), but it's possible it's the internet connection parameters that got screwed up. Just to make sure check if the lights on your network card is on and on your router or hub too.
# If this works, but the browser doesn't work, you can try another one (firefox and internet explorer).
# You can try to run the setup connection wizard again. (in control panel \ internet options \ Connections \ (Setup... button).
# You can also check your network status. (Control panel \ Network Connections ). The click something like Local Area Connection.
If in the general tab you can send packets, but doesn't receive any, it may be your firewall blocking everything.
Make sure you have an ip address assigned in the "Support" tab. Try to click the repair button.
As for increasing your bowling score... I'm not good. I usually start at 160 ~ 170 and after a few games end up with a big 50 something.
You can try watching Golden Bowl.

Thanks Tabana.
I'll have to bookmark this page in case internet got problems again.
It seems to be working fine for now.
watched golden bowl. Not sure if I can bowl with that guy's approach.
Bowling with the curve on the ball yesterday was a first for me, did it a 14 pound ball too, so i think the weight made a difference. I prefer 12 pund ball so my arm doesn't get tired while we bowl. _________________

why don't you go to beef bowl and ask for extra sauce...it'll help your game tremendously.

i should have tried that before my league bowling games.
i averaged 140 a game, and never topped 190 in league, but in open play bowling hit over 200 atleast a dozen times in my life...
not sure if i can bowl like that anymore...
as far as the soreness in the arm after a bowling night, that is typical, and wears off in 3 days or so. If bowling consistantly, your arm adapts to it, and no more soreness...
