Huan - you can buy the Pride VCD boxset from TS or Poh Kim - and its a dorama not a movie. Highly recommend that you watch it.

Samurai Kimura

TAKUYA Kimura�fs screen time in Wong Kar Wai�fs 2046 may have been limited but it was enough to leave an impression. Since then, Japan�fs favourite son has been inundated with film offers.

One of them is a starring role in Yoji Yamada�fs A Bit of Samurai, the final chapter in his samurai trilogy after The Twilight Samurai and Hidden Blade. The opportunity to work with the renowned director was simply too precious for Kimura to pass up. Movie studio Shochiku announced that Kimura, 32, would play a young blind swordsman who is out for revenge.

The YesAsia.com website reported that Yamada was impressed with Kimura. On his first meeting with the star, Yamada said he felt as emotionally charged as when he first encountered screen legend Ken Takakura.

Filming for A Bit of Samurai is scheduled to begin in December and slated for release in Japan next autumn. Following the huge success of The Twilight Samurai and Hidden Blade, there are already high expectations for A Bit of Samurai to do as well as its predecessors.

if you've truly only discovered kimura recently i suggest you watch long vacation....it's a romance to be sure but it isn't too depressing it has a fair share of humor...long vacation is probably the most famous kimura drama for all time...one of the highest rated dramas in japanese history...also watch love generation

i really admire kimura takuya as an actor but i agree with you about hero...i really didn't care for that show at all....that was probably the only kimura drama that i didn't like.

beautiful is awesome but it has a "heavy" storyline...

erm....I think it has only started filming...so I guess u'll have to wait a long time for it to show in Singapore...in fact I'm still waiting for Shinobi

I would like to collect the DVD (if no choice than VCD)...
Not the duplicate copy type, i would like to get a brand new original copy...

i really didn't like hero at all....blah!!! the only drama of kimura takuya that i didn't like...but i am just babbling....a lot of ppl LOVED it.

if you want Hero I WILL re-seed it for you. to answer your question...dramas on jem's site are HARDsubbed.
