if densha can get a foine girlie like that...than anything is possible....they can get their computers to blow up the world, make coffee, and then wipe their asses afterwards....

but then it is based on a true story....i wonder if the real hermes was a dime too?

Good point. It does seem amazing a guy which characteristics like Densha can get a pretty girl Mr Green

Based on a true story Shocked
Hermes.....maybe Sweat

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I enjoyed this drama overall...but i felt like the story was hurt by the fact that not only was densha a typical akibahara otoko type, but he was also cowardly and dishonest as well...they have many dramas about the plain underdog type getting the beautiful woman, (101st proposal and Bus Stop are two that come mind) but usually the hero has some other redeeming qualities to outweigh his weaknesses...i felt sorry for densha, and i'd be nice to him if i'd met him...but no way does this guy get Hermes in real life.

It's a true story supposedly, so it's difficult to change the story if that's the case...but it would have helped if Hermes character was a closet otoko herself, so at least a common interest would have created some reason for the attraction...anyway...so far for the summer season
joou no kyoushitsu gets my vote for the best

I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but here is a project for translating the original Densha 2ch message board posts: http://www.rinji.tv/densha/
(I did a search and couldn't find any other reference anyway).

It's not finished, but it's kind of interesting.

YO YO YO YO YO!!! Long time no see everyone. anyway my densha trip has come to an end or atleast maybe a new begining. so i finally went to see "bakery girl". It took me like 15 min to get the courage to ask her to a company party.

I got rejected in a very good and nice way, the way she said no made me like her even more. I think that shes totally awesome. Her smile is just like wow and her voice is like oh my gosh. Shes really nice and polite and i dont think its just because i went to see her at her work place but i think that shes got such a positive aura around her all the time.

And it also took me like 2 months to get her name. Thanks for all the support that you all gave me and for some good advice and not so good ones.
