The first drama I've seen Takenouchi in is "Ruri No Shima", I prefer actors that "underact"(for lack of a better term) I definitely need to check out some of his other work, I'm impressed!!

Needed a little substance and style today again.
If you want to see him at his underacting best go for With Love or Toshiie To Matsu, IMHO he rocks in both as well as he does this Peacoat! _________________

Takenouchi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Takeuchi- Japanese: 'within the bamboos'. This name is found mostly in west-central Japan, and is pronounced Takenouchi by some bearers. The family claims decent from the legendary hero-statesman Takenouchi no Sukune, himself supposedly a decendant of the mythical Emperor Kogen and a counselor to several other emperors, including Emperor Ojin (late 4th century). Other families, such as the Soga, also claim Takenouchi no Sukune as an ancestor.
