yea, i don't get why Jun is only up for best supporting actor. the show is based off of doumyouji and makino's relationship. without doumyouji there wouldn't be much of a story. makes no sense. grrr.... _________________

Life is pretty unfair gosh he really deserves an oskar for his role!! His acting is sooo awesome cute and adorable!!! *goes-to-hug-Jun* really poor boy, he deserves def more than he gets for this drama....

i cant believe that jun is only being submitted for SUPPORTING actor.. WHAT?! he and mao are both leading roles in this show!! especially when u compare it to gokusen... his role def was definitely supporting in gokusen.. but NOT in HYD!! grrr
as for nwp, i cant really say because im a fan of that show... and kame's acting has definitely stepped it up from kindaichi and gokusen2, by a LOT. he is very convincing in his role... yamapi's hilarious, and yea its a good show.. but its not fair-- if both kame and yamapi are being put in for lead actors, why cant both inoue mao and jun BOTH be recognized as LEADING ROLES?
cuz thats what they are!! omgggggg i think there is just as much screen time of jun alone than there is of mao alone... and personally i think he really does deserve a lot for his acting in HYD.. its really convincing.. he makes the character of domyoji come alive... i hope jun isnt too disappointed...

*edit* altho i am a fan of nwp as well as hyd, if i'd have to choose, i would totally pick HYD anyday, anytime, any place. jun's acting in this show deserves to be recognized, more so than either of their acting in nwp... at least to ME. simply because i think that the role of domyoji is so complex that its more complicated than either shuji or akira in nwp... and bc jun's portrayal is like... off the charts amazing. so jun, i wish you would be put in for leading actor because for ur perf in hyd, you should win... _________________

TOTALLY AGREE!!! Is it a year end Drama Award Ceremony? How important is it, what's it called? If it was important, then those people who put Jun on the supporting actor list is either CRAZY or they have no BRAINS!!!
WE SHOULD write to those voting committees A LOT of COMPLAINING letters as of NOW, what is WRONG with them in the first place???!!!!
As far as I know judging from the ratings and from you guys, HYD is indeed popular in Japan then, right? No doubts that the other station decided to broadcast HP2 against HYD, probably it's very FAMOUS drama then???

i donno how important this is, but i know it's seasonal, meaning 4 times a year. it's strictly a japanese dorama award. someone correct me if i'm wrong... i'm sure all awards are important to the actors...
i think that in the japan, there's supposed to be only ONE lead character in any drama, doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl. that's why nwp with 2 leads really is puzzling and utterly pissed me off... can anyone check the accuracy of this news too?
coz i got it from some chinese fans who's news are pretty accurate...
hyd is BIG in japan alright! it's average rating is the winner of this season's doramas... till this ep... hope it doesn't pull down the standings...

Ok, i've seen this before. Itou atsushi, who played Densha Otoko, won Japan TV award for... Best Supporting Actor! I mean, EVRYBODY KNOW that the title of the dorama is Densha Otoko, which IS Atsushi's character is the MAIN chara. But guess what? He only got supporting actor!
And I think it happened again. Oh my gosh, I know that it's little bit subjective, but I have to say that IF Yamapi or Kami win, it's gonna be VERY irrational and VERY subjective. Reminds me when Gokusen 2 won LOTS in the beginning of this year. Lots of people little bit confused with the result, cause Gokusen 2 seems only repeat what Gokusen 1 had done, with little bit twist in here and there. Sorry for gokusen 2 lovers, but that's what on my mind. Little bit (or a lot??) subjectivity here and there..
Btw, my first post on HanaDAn topic. I REALLY LOVE HANADAN. And yes, I've already contamined with Jun's charm ^^ He's sooo kakkoi and adorable in HanaDan. Not only that, I also LOVE the chemistry between Jun and Mao, between Jun and F4, and between Jun and Tsubaki. The cast are great, and the background song are superb. HanaDan definitely one of the best dorama this year. Can't wait for next episode ^^

HYD definitly is one of the most popular dramas broadcasted at the moment....I guess everyone is watching it...I would say that it is the most popular drama at the moment!!!
And that s**t freaking 17.3 is just because of HP2 broadcasted at the same time anyone understand that manner of the Japanese ppl with the awards??? I don't....
omg im so glad that i missed the stoopid bus. and read the %&@^% news at home, instead of at school. otherwise ppl will think im crazy swearing at the computer
BUT WTFFFFFFFFF i can't stressed how pissed i am!!! as much as i look forward to seeing nobuta each week!!! NOTHING. and i mean NOTHING can replace HYD!!!! just NOTHING!! but don't worry i think the rating will go up for hyd next week hoping...b/c the kiss will probably bost everything back up...

Unfortunately in Japan, DVD are too darn expensive. In the US we could get most DVD under USD$20, which is affordable with the average wage/allowance. In Japan, most DVD are in the USD$60 an above range. I don't they have a very large DVD collection at home.
I just hope that the other TV Stations don't pull something like this for the last two episodes. Gambatte HYD!
