yupyup Ash.. it's like.. even if you're across the room back behind the tv.. the moment the intro for konayuki plays.. i instantly know that it's a scene with Aya and Haruto.. it's like Pavlov's dog only only on a Jdorama level..

Thanks lilmissfab!
i am so wanting the full translation....
somebody.... anybody... translate please...
littlemissfab, I'm the same as u...before the drama, what little I knew of Ryo was that he was in News and Kanjani 8....but after seeing ep 8, I'm really impressed by him.....he sure didn't lose out to Aya in the crying part....there's just something about seeing a guy cry....I fall in love with "Konayuki" the first time it was played in Ep 1, at the bicycle stand in the rain...now whenever I hear it, I know it's Haruto & Aya time...
Btw was anyone touched when

Ako told Aya to wait for her because "if" she got into the same school, she would be able to help her with getting around the school and changing of classes.....I thought it was so sweet that Ako who wasn't very good in her studies was willing to say that (no wonder she wanted to do her homework).....at first I thought she was going to say something not very nice because she stopped halfway the first time.... but I was very touched when she said that......and funny how she kept emphasizing on the word "IF"...
and welcome mana-chan post often & enjoy yourself!!

yeah i thought that was very kind and sacrificing that Ako would say and do that for her sister, even though she wasn't good with her studies. noticed in the earlier part, when she wasn't aware of her older sister's disease, Ako wanted the attention and seemed very grumpy and selfish. But a turnabout now, for Ako as she sees the reality of Aya's situation. I think the entire family is willing to do whatever it takes to make it easier for Aya, and the family as a whole. And for Aya to not want her parents to sacrifice and give up their free time(dad), and the mother's regular career job, i thought that was sweet and kind of aya. And for aya to just give in and do what's "right" for herself and others by going to the special school. I am sure it was a very tough and painful decision, but she had to make it. And episode 8 was also fitting when she gave that very touching and meaningful speech to her classmates as a farewell, and included the title of this drama, as she told them she cried "one litre of tears". That was the moment, i felt said a lot about her situation and how she truly felt in dealing with this disease. Erika Sawajiri really plays the part so well, and i think she is great for it, and i would love to see more of her in other types of dramas, perhaps as the lead character too.

One thing I realise abt Ako now....sometimes she likes to pretend she doesn't care but actually she's secretly worrying and caring for her sister...yep I'm sure it takes alot for Aya to make that decision...considering that the school holds so many memories for her....it's like finally giving up and accepting there's no going back

I just watched episode 9. Another great episode. I especially liked the part where Haruto gave Aya the matching dolphin cell phone strap. It really shows how they were connected even through a great distance.
I thought it was damned insensitive to put her into the same room as that girl with the same illness seeing yourself at latter stage of a illness like that is scary.
This may be a stupid question, but where's the 'spoiler' button?

this drama is good! i diddn't cry on Episode 08 thought. so far the only part i cry in this episodes whas when Ako found out that Hiro was embarrased by his Aya when his soccer mates made fun of how she walk and stufa and Ako went to Hiro why are you embarrased that Aya is your sis (sorry forgot exactly but something like that) and that hte dad/mom was there also everything was so intense and how ako went to get the shirt that Aya sewed to show him and he started crying and yeh i dink everyone did almost forgot......yeh that part made my cry...
it was nice for Ryo to stepped up to speak for Aya ...in episode 08...
I have upload the 4th and 5th... Im in the middle of uploading the 6th... and I probaly upload the rest too
I think these links till works:

I voted for sawajira erika as the most promising actress and for ichi littoru no namida as the best '05 dorama as well.
well.. Just watched ep 8 with subs and it was so sad. I cried more because I knew what they were saying now. I cant wait to watch ep 9... which will be after I finish homework because I am procrastinating right now =P
