the guy who has the tea place is nishkado soujiro.. he dresses spiffy doesn't he? he's into the darker side of male fashion (prefers blacks and rich colored scarves), hanazawa rui on the other hand prefers whites/beiges to his wardrobe.. but he does wear some black too..
in short.. doumyoji is the only one who has a retarded sense of fashion..

First post ever
I'm totally hooked with this drama I haven't been hooked to a jdrama since Gokusen. Anyways, just watched the Raw version of eps. 8. I felt that things were going too fast by the end of the episode. I can't wait for the last one though I have a small feeling to getting dissapointed. It's too dang short for me.
And speaking of Soujirou yes, he is the best dressed. IMO I also think he's the cutest (not that Jun isn't cute, but that really curly hair doesn't really suit him. Love his look in Gokusen more).

ive gotta second that lol, basically sums up my feelings on the characters' outfits ^^
and then akira wears lots of red/brownish colors and sometimes flowery or patterned stuff... whereas dom just has ilke... fur. all over the place. lol, and solid colors, minus the stripes on some ofthe nice button down shirts..

i forgot to put in Mimasaka Akira.. i really don't get the whole brown leather jacket + pants and flowered shirt.. he's like the combination of Shaggy and Fred in Scooby doo.. he's too retro.. but still better than doumyoji..

Ah yes, the flowered shirt. It does look retro. lol I thought the guys looked pretty decent when they were walking with makino towards the end of the episode. Their coats are awesome!

I agree with Soujirou and his style. The dark colors get to me somehow. :3 And he's very attractive, too. My fave outfit of his would have to be what he was wearing when he was helping Yuki with revenge on her ex-boyfriend (Kakatsuka?). The scarf was a nice add. ^-^ And Soujirou in his yutaka(? not really sure) when he's at his house doing the tea ceremony stuff is really nice, but the place makes him room small I think and it's not as elaborate as most of the other sets in the series. :x
Rui contrasting with Soujirou's dark colors goes well, too. Especially in his outfit at Shizuka's party~ kakkoi nee But, he does have fur every now and then (ep.8's fur collar). It looked kinda funny, like a furry pillow on his shoulders, but it wasn't too noticeable.. *cough*doumyouji's rat jacket*cough*
I'm still having doubts about Akira's retro style. :/ It's probably just my taste cuz I don't really like that kind of style, but it does suit him. ^^ Especially when he and Soujirou were doing the "cha cha" when Doumyouji was flashing back to when he told Rui about grated apples causing early baldness.
Doumyouji's fashion makes me laugh but I don't think his style is too bad. :x Probably because it's MatsuJun but ehehe, what doesn't he look nice in? His [trench]coat in ep8 was nice. :0<33 And even if he does look weird in some of the clothes, he carries them well.
I haven't noticed the end credits with all of their sponsers and stuff. o_o I'll have to see their line of affiliates/sponsors to go Darn rich people and their designer/name brand stuff. ee~

^^ My fave Jun hairstyle has to be the Kimi wa Petto one. (But I love the fact that he always changes his style, so as long as he changes it every now & then I don't mind what style he has ~ as long as he doesn't shave it all off, that would really freak me out. )

you just reminded me, when I was watching that part, and I saw the apple billboard I was like; wtf? and began pissin myself laughing. It just seemed so 'cheesy' (I dunno if thats the right word, I should really say 'apple-y' rofl) ... anyway, I really found that fighting scene cheesy too. lmao.

This dorama is superb! Personally, I am enjoying the Japanese version more than the Taiwanese version, Meteor Garden. ^^;
Soujiroh-san does have a cool sense of style, and like many of you have already stated, Doumyouji's style is somewhat strange. Too flashy...^^ I also like Rui's sense of style. It's very light-colored, but not so much so that it makes it appear feminine.
