First of all, I was just expressing how I feel about Jin dating, not intending to upset those with different opinions.

I don't know how you define a fan. As for Jin, he's a pretty face, very hot in Anego and I love to watch him on the screen. I'm very sure I'm an Arashi fan though

As for MatsuJun, he's only very hot and attractive doing his caracters in different dramas. Jun as himself is a bit of ambitious dork, but very kawaii in his way and I find him very adorable. I think if Jun start dating I think I'll lose a bit of my interest of him. Idols should have the image of AVAILBLE even though I'm very aware of that I'll never get any contact with them but idols job is provide the viewers with dream or a dream world. Dating will create a crack in that image.

Actually, idols are somebody you KNOW or think you know but to them you are a stranger. OT: As DTsuyoshi said in a show, there was an old lady who met him on a train and the lady recognized him. She asked "Tsuyoshikun right?" and Tsuyoshi thought she was somebody he knows so he tried really hard to remember who she could be. So back to your question, I don't think Jin cares about if I personally am happy or not so...
If I don't feel happy knowing that he's dating then I won't watch stuff with him as much as I did. There's other hot idols out there.

In my defense, the thread was initially for Jin. Aka merged the Jin and Kame threads together (explained in p.1 of the thread). I was hoping for more info on Jin and his current and future projects. It's like Yamapi having his own page and the rest of the arashi boys having their own too. I'm actually not a big Kame fan. And I find Taguchi really hilarious I loved him in ganbatte and the skits in minna no terebi, he has this goofy smile that cracks you up.. anyway, at first maybe, the attraction to Jin may be that he's really good looking. but that novelty fades and people like me (newbies in the jpop world) will come to see that there's more to him than that.. (which i eventually found out thanks to this thread and some other sources)..

OT: this monday?!?!?! i have finals on monday and wednesday but wed is the 21st and after 4pm i'll be packing and cleaning and doing nomination stuff... not sure when im going home cuz i gotta get tix. but i can totally screencap on the bus ride back too...

The first thing that attracted Jin to me was his voice and the amount of effort and hard work he put into his singing.

Whether or not Akame has girlfriends or the rest of KAT-TUN has girlfriends doesn't really matter to me... and I don't think anyone should criticize them for being normal and wanting to have a relationship. meh. just my opinion.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of having a separate thread for just akame just because it takes away from the whole kat-tun togetherness, but as mentioned, it is done for yamapi and other artists, so who am i to complain. i just feel that it can get a bit repetitive and eventually it'll just come down to "jin is so hot! kame is so hot!". oh well...i'll shut up now.

And the Knight Rider was only a rumour? DAng...I was looking forward to seeing it.

It just dawned upon me that Jin and Kame have had 2 series this year. They were both in Gokusen.. then Jin had Anego, Kame had NwP... i guess the Kindaichi can't be counted, being a special.. I wonder what projects they have for next year...

first off, i dont think there's anything wrong with there being a thread for jin and kame. it WAS two threads meshed together, which i didnt realize, but i also really like the pairing of jin & kame together -- not like that -- but like in acting roles and such.

secondly, i got introduced to kat-tun through jin and kame. i know that they have been more exposed than the rest of kat-tun. personally to me, a guy doesn't have to be hot to get my attention- there are a lot of guys that i think are really awesome who are really great actors. and thru their acting and/or performing, i've fallen for them and think they're really hOT- cuz they are- in their personalities, in their acting, in their singing, in their dancing... in whatever it is that turned me on to them, and whatever it is that keeps me their fan.

also not to be nitpicky but this thread is for jin and kame. there are threads for lots of separate members of other groups. kat-tun hasn't been that exposed, they havent debuted yet (i wish they would.....) and therefore maybe a lot of people dont know about kat-tun but only know about jin or kame thru a drama or two that they've watched. or a song that they heard on the radio, or a music video. i dont know, but maybe the people stopping by here don't even really know about kat-tun... maybe they're fans of jin and kame's acting.

i post on both the arashi thread and jun's own personal thread. i dont post on jun's thread because i hate the other members of arashi, but because i dont want to be harping on jun and jun only in the arashi thread- so if there's something i wanna talk about concerning only jun, maybe ill only write it on his thread... so i really dont see whats wrong w/there being a thread for jin and kame. the other members of kattun could have their own threads too, couldnt they?


it's one thing to be honest, and it's another to be honest while being respectful. is it necessary to really be so forthright and rude to others? i understand that you're upset and offended by somebody else's words, but this is a public forum, can we try and make it somewhat of a nice environment at least? i know i'm not a mod, or whatever, but i just feel a little offended when you attack everybody with a "what's wrong with all of you?" statement. maybe everyone here isn't a kat-tun fan, maybe they only know about jin or kame... maybe they like the pairing of jin and kame, maybe they really really like jin and/or kame outside of the group and are wondering what things that concern only them... i mean, i didnt agree with the post that offended people either, about jin dating making him less attractive to somebody... and i was a little miffed, but yes thats because my opinions are different. i would like the guys i like to be happy because when they're happy, thats when they will look and sing and act the best. i don't feel that it's wrong for people to state their opinions, but i think that everything should be done with respect. most people on jdorama dont know each other, so maybe we should try and take a step back and realize that these are other people that we are sharing interests and thoughts with... so we should try and be respectful of them as well.

personally i wasn't attracted to either jin OR kame when i first watched them in gokusen 2... (dont hate me!) but through their acting and their singing, and the few shows that i've seen with them in it, i think that they're two very unique and interesting characters, and i began liking them a lot. which is what led to my curiosity of what kat-tun is like and what new shows kame and jin would be starring in.

and if somebody finds jin or kame really hot in something and wants to say it, i dont see what's wrong with that. its another thing to just harp on it for posts and posts, but what's wrong with thinking somebody's really hot and posting that? isn't that just an opinion as well?

i think people know Akame better because Johnny pushes them more (much like how at first YaPi was always pushed front and center in NEWS)

To be honest, separating group members to have their own thread has been somewhat controversial here, as I received some pm of pros and cons. So it's really tough for us mods to decided and let a seperate thread of an artiste belongs to group be permitted. But on the first hand there are precedents before which made them possible (ie. matsujun, kimura,etc...), on the other hand it does seem redundant and eating up bandwith. End of discussion.
